Multiplicity will send one magic packet and the adapter chosen will be whatever the OS decides is the right one. Clearly in some situations this isn't producing the right adapter probably because unlike other packets there is no IP address to guide it so it will no doubt be the default adapter. It is possible in Windows to order interfaces by priority so if everything is on the same network you should be able to us

Yeehaw! I found the problem with Multiplicity. :) Apparently, if you have multiple network adapters installed (even virtual ones like a VPN or for VMWare/VBox), the adapter that is pinged with a magic packet may not be the correct one! This does NOT affect the Seamless or KVM control code, because once the Secondary Computers are awake, they can be Connected To or controlled just fine, with no problems. However, they still can't be sent a magic

I have the same issue. Wake on Lan works just fine using WakeMeOnLan application, but doesn't work with Multiplicity Pro KVM. Neither the direct seamless "Send Wake-on-lan message" nor Connect through the "which computer would you like to control?" window wakes anything up anymore. They are all connected via wired Ethernet. And once the machines are awake, I can control them just fine with Multiplicity (seamless as well as remote). Note that the WakeMeOnLan d

Another bug from the April update appears to be that if the secondary computer has "Enable Fake Pointer support.." on, the Primary connects to a black screen. Sometimes a tap of the keyboard will bring it up. Sometimes waiting a second or two. Sometimes disconnecting and then reconnecting does the trick. Sometime nothing at all works except manually striking the keyboard on the secondary. Turning this setting off seems to completely fix the problem.

My experience has been that if I immediately restart the computer from the start menu, the multi-monitor system layout will return to normal. I presume that there is a monitor/device enumeration issue and even restoring from a snapshot until this enumeration issue has been "reset" with a restart won't help. The good news is that everything should be in all the right places when you restart, so perhaps that's worth the 30 seconds or so it takes to get back to where yo

Windows 10 shows the name of the Multiplicity window on the Taskbar, but when I use Multiplicity to connect to many machines (as a KVM pro user I do!) each instance only shows the "Multiplicity ..." portion of the name. When you hover over it, you don't see the full name and the name isn't in the thumbnail either, of course. So, a simple way to make these more useful when controlling multiple machines would be to just change the window title from: Multiplicity 3 - ITCHY<

While I'm a big fan of Stardock and ObjectDock, it should be noted that, while feature limited compared to ObjectDock and the brilliant Nexus dock, RocketDock does still work flawlessly on Windows 10. Now that's some fine coding there. [e digicons][/e]

Minor Update: I rebooted into Windows 7 x64 on the same system and the Monitor order reported on Windows 10 for both the OS and Nvidia "Setup Multiple Displays" match those reported by the OS and Nvidia "Setup Multiple Displays" under W7 (re: 2 1 3), so it appears that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update corrected this discrepancy in the Windows 10 release and November update. However, the Nvidia control panel entry "Change resolution" lists the monitors in a different order under W7 th

This echoes some of the problems I have had with Windows 10 x64, 3 monitors, and Deskscapes 8. I reported these issues last year and earlier this year in this forum and via support. I suspect that it is related to the monitor numbering/matching discrepancy or whatever underlies that change in the OS. For me, video wallpapers work just fine on all monitors, but Dynamic Dreams like PhotoDream will ONLY work if they are located on the leftmost monitor (of the 3) AND th

So far, so good. No problems here. [e digicons][/e] My only suggestion would be to add "Configure Fences" to the list of items that comes up with you RMB over a Fences Title Bar. I know it comes up when you RMB over the desktop, but it just seemed like a logical place to bring up a requester to configure Fences overall.

We are actually replacing the PEOPLE and their entire skill sets. When Joe is replaced by a machine, Joe will need to be cross-trained. That was the estimate (not part of the actual referendum) because of the high cost of living in Switzerland. But the number would vary from country to country.
The swiss just voted this down.
The Swiss always vote these kinds of social referendums down the first 2 or 3 times, before they approve them. It takes time to raise sufficient awareness and educate people. With automation coming to make most of humanity simply unemployable (which is why we designed and built them, after all), a Basic Income Guarantee is the only workable economic solution going forward.
