Uh, this is all vulnerabilities regarding the command shell MONAD. The only reason the article writer includes Vista in the title is to get you to read it this badly conceived hype piece. MONAD is available now, in beta, for Windows XP, etc. so there is no connection to Vista per se. So this is essentially a troll/misleading posting based on a troll/misleading article. Sigh.

Oooh! Aaaaah! He must be right he knows Ovitz.... Ooooooh! Disney. MP3.com. Customize.org. Skinz.org. Music. MBA. Lawyers. Whirlwinds. Rushing.... Oh I'm dizzy... It's all so exciting. I think I might need to fly to Greece for a couple of months. What in the WORLD are you talking about and/or referri

Not to nitpick, but in such an otherwise eloquent post I was surprised to see "irregardless". It's a nonstandard usage, but yes, if there had been a spellchecker here, I would have caught it. As is, it won't let me edit/correct it, so what the heck? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Win

The articles of incorporation (be it LLC, C, or S-corp), require that all stockholders/founders be notified of changes, meetings, etc. that pertain to these documents, rules changes, board of director meetings, and related issues - i.e. anything that can and must only be decided via a vote. By NOT notifying Jark of these events, and by not properly reporting financials in a timely fashion etc., they may very well have breeched the initial incorporatio

I think your title tends to overrate the importance of this non-event. I mean, Apple turning to Intel? Yes, big deal! Microsoft tweaking their CSS code management? I'm sure there are at least eight people who really do give a flip about this, but come on now. Just because the media makes money on the hype doesn't mean the rest of us need to s

Hum, sorry, but Yahoo! doesn't seem that interested in cross-plateorm either. Past acquisitions weren't cross-platform and they haven't updated Yahoo Chat for Mac in two years. I all fairness Yahoo! seems to actually be losing interest into the Mac platform. Yup, they are SMART businessmen indeed. No

I did point out in this very forum that these guys were getting all the PR/press and were going to be eating Stardock's lunch because of it. The best PR firms do exactly what Arlo did for their clients. Congrats to them. But now, Arlo doesn't need to do anything, because Yahoo is a huge machine, and all they have to do to market their product immediately to millions of people is put a link/ad/graphic on their home page and self-plant on-lin

At least they mention Stardock, but they really should've included a WinCustomize.com link if they included the other one. I bet a nicely worded email to the editor/author about "balance" would get that link added in there.

Brad, my point was that I feel that you need to DE FACTO disclose it in every article you write that pertains to this subject and market. You disclose it occasionally, but not regularly, and certainly not in the article above where the CEO of a competitor is "reviewing" a competitor's product. Note that you show a tendency to respond like this to whoever posts a contrary opinion, only to "come around" again in a few weeks time. This is danger

Brad, I love your products (paid subscriber, etc.) and I think this article is a fair and neutral comparison, but I have two hopefully helpful comments: 1) You should get into the habit of disclosing that Stardock is your company in your articles and posts. While I think you do an excellent job of presenting both sides, I think this disclosure is the "right thing to do." By not doing it, people in the know will assume you are playing favorites

Here's a good example of how I am using it. I do a lot of CGI, photoshop, screenwriting, you name it...all at the same time. Before today, I had three monitors on my primary system and a secondary machine set up as a server with an old 17" monitor on it. I put a whole bunch of my favorite Desktop X widgets, clocks, aero calendars, Avedesk widgets, render farm control software, etc. on the secondary computer/monitor. Basically, anything that took up
