Note for people who reported problems with Translucency and Deskscapes using Fences, the problem has not been fixed. They just disabled this Fences feature on Windows 10 if you are using Deskscapes. If you try to turn the checkbox feature on, it tells you why it's disabled. [e digicons]:'([/e]

It was my understanding that WindowBlinds under Windows 10 cannot skin the Explorer window background, or make is transparent, making all of these skins with dark explorer backgrounds not work at all as expected. Is that no longer the case, folks? Thanks.
It's actually the 'fault' of Windows 10 and 'forced updates'.
No, this wasn't via Windows Update. It was through the nVidia GeForce Experience Application...as he made clear in his original post.
The new Windows 10 translucency feature also doesn't work with non-primary monitors in a multi-monitor situation. Those Fences remain opaque while the ones on the Primary monitor work as advertised.
RE:Translucency - Is your secondary monitor connected to the same video card?
Yes. Three monitors attached to the same nVidia 970 card (2560x1600 per monitor). Doesn't matter if it's connected via DisplayPort or DVI, etc. Windows 10 x64 (everything updated). Latest nVidia hotfixed drivers, but the problem has existed throughout all of the recent driver and OS updates.
Cool new stuff! [e digicons][/e] Roll-up, etc. seems to work fine here. I still have the problem with Translucency not working on any monitor except the Primary. On my other monitors to the left and right of the primary, it remains opaque rather than Translucent. Also, if the screens refresh with a new Driver update, etc. the Fences on the secondary monitors move to the Primary. Any fences on the Primary work fine and rest
Bug: "Translucency behind Fences" only seems to work on the Primary/Main monitor, not on any secondary monitors. Windows 10 x64 Nov release.

re: Chrome - If you have a Custom Theme installed within Chrome itself, it seems to disable Chrome skinning with WindowBlinds. This is not a problem as I see it, since I can just disable the theme (using the Extensions Manager aka Switcher extension) and then Windowblinds skinning works just fine so far. I'm using the latest x64 dev build of Chrome for testing.
Quoting Neil Banfield, You were never able to select OS default from default Taskbar / Start menu in settings. Regarding explorer backgrounds. Right now that feature is no longer an option on Windows 10 and may have to remain so. Changes to the OS have caused problems with it. If we find a solution it would be back but so far no luck.
There seems to no longer be a way to control the transparency of Explorer Window Backgrounds as there was under Windows 7. Is this feature coming, I hope? I also can't seem to select OS Default as the default Taskbar/Startmenu in Settings/Use the taskbar and startmenu from... control. I believe that I was once able to do that. Otherwise it works and THANK YOU for returning glass borders, etc. to Windows!!!! [e digicons][/e]
" the support system would have then provided tailored advice and run automated fixes." "So, Dell has published the “How to” remove the rogue certificate on its website here ." So, I'm guessing their super system can't run an automated fix to fix this, eh? [e digicons][/e]
This is probably related to the Bitlocker problem with some upgrades vs. clean installs. I'm sure it will be resolved shortly.
I have a 3 x 30" nvidia surround setup option on this machine, so I thought I would test it for you. The short answer is Yes and No. Depending on your OS and the Dreams you want to run. Longer Answer and Testing Results on Windows 10 x64 (release build, not beta) using the latest Nvidia drivers: In my 7680x1600 single desktop, Video Dreams like Utopia Prime, Goodnight Earth, etc. worked fine (albeit stretched, of course). Since you and I are both able to run whatever configuration we want, with no lag, etc. on Windows 7, it definitely seems as though it's going to be a problem with Deskscapes and Windows 10 talking to each other. I'm seeing little or no evidence that the latest version of Deskscapes is using any GPU acceleration for video on Windows 10, just CPU. But that's just by monitoring CPU vs. GPU clock speeds between running and paused. That might not give an accurate pict
I just updated my original post with more useful (I hope) information. I'll test your upload as well, thanks. Update: Constellation plays fine at my end. No problems with high CPU, etc. I assume that it's MPEG 2 or 4 encoded and my system has no problem GPU-wise with that at all.
I apply the dream Constellation by Patrick Mathews on Mon 2.
I cannot seem to find this dream anywhere. Is it a purely video dream or a dynamic dream? I am having problems with multimonitor use under windows 10. In my case, the selection of anything except the far leftmost monitor as primary causes Dynamic dreams (e.g. PhotoDream) to fail and/or render Deskscap
No worries. You actually did let me know in that thread. Thanks! I was just concerned that the program was updated and released as "fully compatible with Windows 10" without addressng these bugs I reported that don't exist on Windows 7, but do clearly exist on Windows 10. :( Like many, I skipped Windows 8.x, so I'm not sure if it's broken in that OS. It appears as though my issues are on the "to do" list then. I was hoping it was an easy fix tha
Any word on what was fixed in this update from the beta? Because none of the bugs I passed on have been addressed. Reported here and numerous other places [e digicons]:)[/e] https://www.wincustomize.com/article/471760/ Is this only a problem related to dynamic dreams like PhotoDream, because videos seem to work as expected (though with non-matching monitor ids)?

She will always be a part of you. Peace.
I too have seen the icons not movable on the desktop bug. But it goes away after a minute or three. Very strange. I assume it is locking up explorer.exe on some level, but that this eventually passes.
Multimonitor Windows 10 bugs reported in this thread. https://www.wincustomize.com/article/471760/ Thanks for all the hard work, Stardock. I look forward to the next beta release! [e digicons][/e]
Thank you, The_Gear.
Psynex, thanks for contributing. I've seen the same behavior with all recent and beta drivers, today and all throughout the beta. Unlike many, I've been able to run DeskScapes on Windows 10 one way or another. It may be specifically related to the fact that I am setting my primary to the monitor in the middle of 3 monitors or perhaps it is related to using PhotoDream/Dynamic Dreams? I currently have none of the advanced settings checked (re: multi GPU, scaling, paus
