Reading others articles I can see that there is hope....but..(there is always a but)...words alone will not take us where we need to travel. We must communicate and then together form a plan of action that we stick to and make a dream.... reality. Do not be overwhelmed by the task at hand but focus and progress until we have conquered our fears, opened our hearts and set ourselves upon a road we are all part of.

WiseFawn, My younger Brother has been living in Hiroshima for the past two years.....and he has learnt much about the atrocity that became indented in History. Apparently the U.S. had a few targets in mind for that particular morning but they chose Hiroshima because it was a beautiful, clear, sunny day so they chose to destroy the lives of these innocent people because of this fact....though they were going to do it anyway...somewhere... but for th

WiseFawn, progressive people, average people, many of whom are ready to act outside of this backward country, need to empower themselves to pose the questions at issue. Oh, WiseFawn, you give us so much to think about........ When reading your articles it gives me hope that we can change the path we follow...and that I am not alone in the need for a world of true equality,

Thankyou WiseFawn.....very nice to make your aquaintence! I have just been reading your articles and I can say the same thing! You certainly give one something to think about.....I have a few things to think about before I go back to your posts and write a little further........Love the way you express yourself! I'm actually about to take a little break after becoming frustratingly enraged over some peter maxwells writings.....my curiosity had

Ravenblack, Why are we cruel to people who are different?[/B I never picked on anyone nor was I at the brunt of anothers malice but I did see it go on....I do still see it go on....Is it part of our natural instinct? A 'survival of the fittest scenario' that is not neccesary in our society today? I do feel, though, that kids join the masses out of fear...fear of being the one who is picked on.....fear of not being like everyone els

Amitty, Being an Australian you would think the election in the USA would not affect me but I'm afraid it does as our Primeminister has become a puppet to Bush. Bush says jump and John Howard says how high sir....and wags his little tail... And when watching speeches given by Bush isn't it a little disturbing when hearing the words he makes up and the important information about current events he has no idea about! I don't know much about

WiseFawn, I have just taken a big time out to read your story and am a little exhausted from the effort. It was amazingly eye opening and horrifying all at once.... I don't have time to comment further right now as I feel it will take a lot of energy. But I will be back to do so soon!

Gideon, Diversity is beautiful. But, I wish that we would not use our differences to separate ourselves. Though, we have one thing in common .....we are all part of the human race. Unfortunately we forget this and concentrate more on what divides us......nationality, religion, culture, colour, beliefs.... Ah.....to be a united world......where everyone is your brother....sister....where every last soul matters......

Do our kids need more education on how to protect themselves? As a parent, once a child starts school and activities, we cannot be there to protect them 24/7. We need to arm them against these people by informing and empowering them. We cannot hope they wont come into contact with these people who prey on innocence as they are everywhere. Kids are like a blank canvas and the entire world is the artist. They don't know how the world works but as ea

Ashlee Ryder, Whoa...that's a lot of hours work in the week for someone so young (no disrespect intended). Secretary, electricians assistant and school....you must be one motivated individual! FreeMark, Crusader, you and are not going to come to agreement because you see the results of the problem and think that is the problem and I think there is something deeper going on but oh well: Can you explain further.......please... everyone deserves the basic needs of food, water, shelter, healthcare Who says they deserve it? I think it is far better that they earn it. Well.......do you thin

Another scenario could have been.....mother unaware her child had taken and sat on videos as mother had said to child ' No, we can't afford it!' I have an almost four year old and he has grabbed a toy from the shop and walked out with it without my knowledge and embarrassed me has had to take it back to the checkout full of apologies! Gideon, Many of these protestors spend money travelling to these events to protest. The money would be better spent, it seems, on voter education and registration drives within their local community. But can you tell them that...I think some people do things for the wrong reasons and it sounds like these people also lack tact.

As long as you have close family and/or friends I don't think you need to be married. And even if you think you have found someone...take it slow...once you've made a commitment to someone you now lead a life of partnership.....always needing to consider the other when making desicions....no longer able to simply think and do...but to think...consider...communicate...discuss....disagree...argue....compromise..... Freemark, Yes...unfortunately money is important...or what it symbolizes, as the actual substance...the note...the coin is pretty worthless.... I hold value for money because I need to ensure my son, partner and self have food, shelter, clothes, education, medicine (if the unfortunate situation occurs that it is needed), electricity, hot water......the list could go on for quite a while but I'm sure you get the idea......and without money......

Peter, For one man to profit another man must starve. Wrong. People do not need to starve we just let it happen.... I do not care if people starve in order for me to make a profit, they are insignificant to me. Have you no heart? Put yourself in the situation of someone less fortunate....would it not revolt you to hear someone say that. Because it revolts me and I am no where near starving.

Freemark, The only way sharing works is if everyone where willing to give the benefit of their work to everyone else. I must make it clear that I am not leaning toward a communist solution......and I am aware as in today's society there will always be those who don't want to work and will sit on their bums and take what they can......but I do think they are a minority as I feel most people, in their hearts, want the best for ev

'Money is a tool'......money itself is not valuable but what it symbolizes.....the piece of plasticky paper you hand over the counter is ...worthless....except that we have given it meaning....given it value. People have different values as much as a $5 notes value is different to a $100 note. I, for example, don't put money high on my list of values except for the reason of survival (my partner is quite the opposite!!)....I need money f
