Just felt the need to bump this up a little to see how many other people may have similar experiences. My Dad has a lot of unuexplained, uncanny coincidences too and after reading this I began speaking to others about the subject and found a lot of people to have similar experiences but mark it down to 'coincidence'. Maybe it's something to do with radio waves in the ether that we are picking up or something......?

Tangled Wishes, Sounds like you have people who care for you here and I think what both Dharmagrl and Little Whip said is something to think about. And you know what ...cycles can be broken you can rise above your past traumas and choose a life to lead. I guess the cruncher is do you want to. It's up to you....but I think if you do decide to change your path you have some people here who can guide and advise you. Good luck in what ever yo

Was this inspired by the magnificent storm last Wednesday night? I could feel it coming long before the clouds covered the sky....though it wasn't overly cloudy....and sitting outside watching the show we were wondering where it was coming from as we could still see the stars through what clouds were there. I like how you explain things in your writing, Muggaz, you are very understandable. I know a man who has been struck by lightning twic

My son skipped the terrible two's but picked them up momentarily as a terrible three though it's not really terrible just a little tiresome as they race about their world wanting to touch and play and learn and question everything. You are not alone....as all children seem to have this unquenchable energy and desire to test everything and see what it does and making messes is all part of this until they learn that perhaps it's not a nice thing for

(Laugh) I can see you now Sally sitting in your nightie dressing and grooming your Barbies....that's not really playing with them is it....?....It's really more just making sure they are warm and comfortable before you pack them away for storage isn't it?! I am the same....I hate to throw things away ....i

Hello Sally, Andy, I must say it's good to see you both here!! In fact it's absolutely great as I feel like we're developing a great friendship and you have both become endeared in my heart. There are people in life that you just seem to click with and others you just don't and I believe you two belong in the former for me. I'm so sorry to hear about your Nanna. At least she had a long life

Whoa....those poems are a bit too relative for me right now..... I have just been to "I am going to die" and thought I'd have a quick look here at your poems..... (You are an amazing writer Sally...your teacher was right all along)

Don't go, Andy....I have just had a lot going on in my life lately but could probablly continue this converstation for the rest of my life! I have even more questions about life after death .....my Nanna died this week and well...I was hoping to ask you where you imagined she'd be...to set my mind at ease.....sigh...my Nanna was ninety six so she definately lived a long fulfilled life but....it is hard to come to terms with the finality of her not

Sounds like a recipe well worth trying, Dharmagrl. Here's one that's not so much fantastic though the individual can make it so....and it's easy and great if you have kids 'cos they can help! Foundation biscuit recipe.. 1 cup flour 1 cup SR flour 1/2 cup butter (125g) 1/2 cup caster sugar (but I have also used brown sugar or white sugar and it turns out just as well) 1 egg beaten sift flours. crea

Glad to see you pop in Ravenblack. Don't have any links but once I get my head around how to put images up successfully I have a lot more to show!

Could anyone give me any tips on how to successfully put my pictures up here? Keeping in mind that you may have to explain it as you would to a child! So, there you have it TC, ....have you looked at wincustomise.com yet? There's awesome stuff over there, ...take a look, if only for curiosity's sake. WrecklessEric, Haven't had a chance yet but I will get round to it. Actually the weather has been so nice that I've been pain

When I met my partner twelve years ago he had no car.....So what is that supposed to mean?? I don't care what car I drive as long as it gets me safely where I want to go.

My Dad told me this the other week I just couldn't remember it exactly when I was here last time..... 'No candle ever lost its light by lighting another' I think that the way we behave in our close circles is the true reflection of our nature. We are more careful with strangers. So if we really want to know the kind of people we are, we only have to look at the way behave with our spouses or siblings. I remember someon

Phoenixboi, You always make a lot of sense, Phoenixboi. I think anger can be an unavoidable emotion for certain circumstances...but hate is too venomous and can blind and enslave people. Anger on the other hand I feel every now and then, alot of the time it is frustration with people more than anger. I get frustrated because I know people know better in certain situations, and I get frustrated when I know that they know and they dont d

This one probably not finished yet.....sometimes I think I'm finished by I end up going back and changing the entire picture.

I'm kinda dissapointed that no one has commented as I was trying to point out in my own words how our hate is so bad for us and what we are losing why we cling to this horrible part of us. Hate and anger takes such a draining, painful, dark, bloody energy that enslaves us ....but to let go frees us to see the good in the world...the innocence that exists in every new life. And if we...now ...let go of this dangerous, venomous trait we can set the upcom

People can be impatient and hurtful to family members and amazingly tolerant and polite with strangers. Why is this so? Is it because we become too used to each other the more time we spend together....we know they will be there so why make the effort? Does familiarity breed contempt? When I was going through my rebellious teen era, many years ago, I put others before my family and in hindsight it was really cruel for me to do so as my family is a
