I'm immediately going to go right out and start photocopying my hinder everywhere I can.

Anyone interested in all-herbal viagra?
Hmm....is that wall with the dragon in it was the one she was referring to...I really don't see a problem with it. It's quite tasteful and artful. You should see some of the things that have been rejected.
I like cheese. http://cheese.com/
You might try bringing attention to DX. I still don't know why there was no section for DX in the GUI-O, for example. It doesn't help either that the majority of stuff people see for DX is weather widgets.
The ratings system overall has proven to be pretty fair. On the rare occasions when there has been ratings abuse, it's been corrected quickly. Generally, if you're consistently getting low ratings, it means you need to hone your skills. I personally could care less about your nickname, and I haven't been following the discussion on why you chose it. If it's causing so much negative feedback, you might want to consider changing it though...if only
Where did you download the freeware version from? The official download site is cnet.com. I just downloaded and installed the freeware version, and it has no tabs. Also, no systray icon with the freeware version
I really like Paint Shop Pro. While it's not free, it's considerably cheaper than Photoshop.
For the curious...the swastica dates back many thousands of years. It even comes in two flavors, clockwise and counter-clockwise. It's only been associated with Nazism since Hitler used it for his flag. I may be wrong, but hasn't the Iron Cross (properly known as the Maltese Cross) also been used in U.S military decorations? http://www2.prestel.co.uk/church/oosj/cross.htm http://www.hostu
OZZY....it would appear that you are already using purchase-only software. You claim that you have not (and will not) purchase anything online. Yet in your screenshot, ObjectDock+ is clearly visible both onscreen and running in your systray. The FREEWARE version of ObjectDock does not support tabs...only the purchased version does. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID=7344&LibID=13&co
I'd be sad about that...except that I couldn't care less about warez sites. With luck, they'll ALL fold. btw, you REALLY need to change your avatar
Code-named 'Blackcomb'? sounds familiar.....
Things download pretty fast, but the site itself loads a bit slow. *shrug*
I think Cyber meant skins that *look* like Lindows stuff...?
It is indeed SP2. It has to do with windows converting the extension of 'unkown' compressed file types to zip extensions. Some people have run into the issue, others haven't. When I was using SP2, I did not have the problem. I read the actual explanation of why it happens somewhere, but blast if I can remember where or all the details. One thing to note some WB skin downloads actually ARE zip files. Often, an author will package additional stand-alone walls along with the actual wba. Norm
The idea though, Brad, is to bring the best to the attention of the new people who are just getting started.
It would work just as well for the other skins sections too, not just DX.
A 'best of' sub-library might not be such a bad idea.
I'd like to get systray overlays back...
To the site admins; please include instructions to tell users how to actually use the skins they download. On IRC we've been getting a lot of n00bs who've downloaded WB skins and have no idea how to use them. This is not really a problem (good way to get new folks around), but it might be a good idea to add the info to make it easier for them to figure out. It's a common problem over at WC as well. A lot of new people might not have the patience t
I'm not the author of the piece. I just thought it was too funny not to share.
This is from a forum, I have tried to delete the f words but you can get the gist of it Take the time to read it. I've got some goodies on hold, waiting for a couple of features on the to-do list (object.group, for one...a new email plugin for another)
Chas, it wasn't aimed at you, nor was it in defense of anyone in particular. I simply felt (based on several observations here and there) that it was time to post something of this nature once again. It gets to be necessary about every year or so, I've noticed. The number of new users and skinners that join our happy little dysfunctional community every year is staggering. I wasn't referring to harsh and unjustly critical comments, either. THOSE are absolutely uncalled-for. In such a commu
I'm starting to see a disturbing trend in some skin comments. People are being attacked for offering constructive criticism. ATTENTION! That's the WHOLE POINT of skin comments! It's far better to have constructive comments on areas of improvements than the continual 'U r0X0rz' comments. FYI, people A person doesn't have to be a skinner themselves to offer good analyses of skins. I can't manufacture an automobile, but I know what I like to see in one. Skin bashing is unacceptable, of cour
