Thanks for the info so far... so uhhh... how in the world do I edit the min/restore/close buttons when working in a "blank template"? When I click on them nothing happens like it does with the other items that I select, such as the top, left, right .bmp's. The pop-up balloon says to double click on them but doing so results in nothing...
I messed with the "classic" template, but will that give me what I need as far as being able to skin the portions of Windows Explorer also? (the left side menu items?) So far it seems that making a "blank skin" and going from there may be what I'm looking for as it seems very "XP" oriented and that is pretty much what I'm looking for.
Ok, I’m going to attempt to make a WindowBlinds skin, but I’m not sure where to begin. I’ve downloaded Skin Studio and become a little familiar with it and all, but I have no idea what to do within the program to start a skin. Do I choose a blank skin or do I choose ‘From a template”? I’ve toyed with both and they seem very different, with the names of the graphics that they use and all (WindowFrameTopUis2.bmp vs. top.bmp). Based on my thoughts, the Architect is not technically improving “The One”. He uses the information that The One gathers (the code that returns to the source) to improve the Matrix itself, so that fewer minds will be able to break free, or will “want” to break free. Something that I picked up on in the last viewing: Some of Neo’s responses in the Architect’s room come before the screens with his responses finish “talking”, which is possibly why the architect seems impressed with the speed in which Neo provides some of his responses. Perhaps the prior iterations of “The One” didn’t respond until after the screens presented all of the possible responses. Do you think that the previous "The One's" all looked like him? Just curious if you were thinking that of the screens in the architect's room, as I thought that all of those screens contained Neo's possible responses based on what the Matrix knew about him and the camera would go to the screen that contained his response and we'd watch from there until there was another response from him...

The commands that she entered were actual Unix commands and the exploit that she used was an actual exploit... slightly modified in that the was able to change the admin password where the real exploit allows you to log in as root... or something to that effect.
