It looks like you're right about setpoint being to blame since multiplicity works as expected when it's unloaded. There are per app settings (for OE and common office apps), but even with them all deleted out none of the problem apps (most of which didn't have a custom setting to begin with) still eat the button 4/5 clicks. Fortunately the button reassignments persist without setpoint running, but I'm going to miss the battery helath update if I can't get any satisfaction out of logitech on th

Both buttons do work with a few apps on the primary having focus but most either consume the click or loose it. Primary is XPpro, secondary VistaPremium32 Apps that pass the click to the secondary: Windows desktop (everything minimized) Opera IE6 Apps that consume clicks instead of passing them to the secondary: OE Explorer word07 Apps that eat 4/5th button clicks but are unable to use them: Mirc boinc manager winamp

I have a logitec MX610 mouse with volume control buttons (up/down/mute) in addition to the more common 5. Is there any posibility of these being sharable to secondary machines in the future?

I have an XPpro primary, and VistaPrem secondary. If I play a DVD in media center on the secondary, afterwards I can no longer wake its screen up by mousing over. Instead I have to touch the keyboard or touchpad. Once I do that I can then mouse over to it using the mouse plugged into my primary.

I'm not sure if it's related or not, but yesterday the right arrow key on my primary became stuck down everywhere except on the ctr-alt-del screen. I ended up rebooting, but the one location where it wasn't happening should've clued be in that it was a problem with an application. My antivirus is Avast4.7 home edition.

I've tested this with 3 different games: GalCiv2, Hearts of Iron Doomsday, and Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood, and windows media player 10. All four applications exhibit the immediate failure when the primary starts running fullscreen, and a brief delay after closing the fullscreen application and 5th button support being restored while controlling the secondary.

Worked for me with an XpPro primary and VistaPremium secondary, and a logitech mx610. well it worked briefly. It stopped working an hour or two later. I'n not sure exactly when. My setup is a vistaprem secondary and an xppro primary. When it was working the vista machine had been rebooted after installing 1.2 but the XP machine had not. I since rebooted the XP machine but don't know if that was when the fai

The other big lack I found with synergy was that it minimized any game when I moused over to the second machine. That limitation was a deal breaker for me. Maxivista had the same problem as well as being rather more CPU intensive. Multiplicity works well with games, and I can wait for the 5 button support so you got my money. V 1.2 still isn't available on SDC yet, any updated ETA for a release?

I don't see the exact UI described by SeaBass either. That said on the I have a disabled advanced config button with a parenthetical note that says pro only, so I assume the answer is yes. I'm probably going to end up upgrading since I want a bit of dead space between my two monitors so I don't keep straying across and xfering focus while working along the edge.

jared: You should *NEVER* install a beta OS as anything other than a dual boot. Beta = buggy, and potentially not complete by definition.

The implementation could be better though. I often have a half dozenish designs cluttering up my shipyard by tyhe end of the game as newer faster ships are built with higher trade levels or to replace ones destroyed as a result of combat. Since cargo and large hull types can be cross upgraded the clutter increases the risk of a fatfinger accident misupgrading battleships into trashhaulers.

wilson's correct. Component size is made of a fixed size value and a percentage of the hull size. Because of this miniturization effectively only affects the base size. The hull percentage is in general a nonfactor in miniturization because the 15% should increase the component size an ammount equal to the increased hull space. What happeened was that you've been burned by floating point rounding. The current implementation is better than applying the percentage on the components size, but
