Thats the real stinker that got me, A text only GUI modification site :D The sad thing is most Mac users would be very happy with this announcement as Unsanity have totally dropped the ball, mind you I'm still waiting for the mac compatible version of multiplicity so maybe that was a previous april fool's.

I really like the idea of dreams and used them to a bit on a 30 day Ultimate trial but the only ones worth using were the stardock design ones because they usually used only 10-15% CPU. Most user generated ones ran at least 30% some at 60% which is just a joke. I think .dreams could become very sucessful but only if they use minimum system resources. still kinda sucks that you have to shell out for ultimate for this, well this and texas hold'em . If there were loads of ultimate extras it might be worth it. I tryed ultimate for 30 days just to give these a whirl last month and although stardock designs dreams were excellent, virtually every other author's work was a total CPU hog (I run a 6400 Core2Duo 1.5GB Ram Ati 1650Pro256MBDDR3) I'd rather just pay for Deskscapes in the same way i pay for windowblinds etc. Isn't it about tim

I totally agree Vista is a big step forward, it just "feels" more stable compared to XP. Strangley i have never seen the running applications shut down message ever! I've been running it since the 1st beta go figure ! However it is quite buggy still and even with the reliability and performance updates my explorer crawls and crashes maybe 40% of the time. I still think there are better WB skins for free. Gotta go with goyney, this will not be a killer app until mac support is added. I'm assuming the general lack of comment from stardock about a mac client means that a mac client will not be appearing at all anymore which is a real pity. Its very impressive (in the citys that are fully 3d viewable) but it needs some serious graphics hardware to run smoothly, my hp laptop with onboard 6150 graphics can't run it but it can run google earth quite smoothly. Instead of using bloatware like Adobe Reader try another free alternative FoxIt Reader. I have been running PS CS2 on Vista since October with no problems at all (apart from the adobe updater no working) what do they need to patch anyway ? I gotta go with Brad on Nvidia , I have 3 AMD systems /2 Nforce/Geforce /1 Ati X300 The Ati system has been flawless with vista whereas i still need to force my laptop (6150) to use the 6200 driver or my VGA out will not work. It is a 6150/430 MCP chipset and alot of AMD systems out there use it. Nvidia should have gold drivers with full Nview monitor support one month after Vistas release!
