Some skins and maxthon in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Hello all - I wanted to post quickly just to see if this is an issue that anyone else wrestles with. I use the Maxthon browser predominantly. Some skins, Rusty Rooster for example, do not open new tabs in the browser maximized but restored. Has anyone else run across this issue or have any ideas on how to correct (short of telling me to use a different browser <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab

Hello, As I experiment with Desktop X, purely as a user not a developer, I am switching between themes to get a feeling for what I like. The problem with doing this is that once I have modified one theme (modified means that I have updated the links to point to programs that are relevant for me) and get it where I like it and can use it, I switch to another theme and have to set all these links up again. This just takes too much time.

Zubaz - Yes, I did. Wasn't too crazy about it allthough it did do the job. It doesn't stand up to objectDock, IMHO

Thanks Citizen Zubaz! I am checking them out right now. I haven't used Object Dock yet but recall playing with it sometime ago and not having a great experience. To be fair I may have given it 30 minutes of my time...I'll give it another look!

Hello - I am new to DesktopX and am enjoying what I see thus far. I like the option of hiding the taskbar. The problem this presents for me is that it is now cumbersome to see open programs, without doing an ALT+TAB. I'm trying to get into the habit of rolling my windows up instead of minimizing them but in the meantime is anyone aware of a widget or object that displays the open programs? TIA

Hello, After installing a theme or Desktop X suite windows, all windows, now maximize over the taskbar. Don't ask which theme or suite..I just don't know.
