Thank you so much for all of this information I have been outside for a bit helping my husband work on his truck so I have not had a chance to try some stuff but I will start to work with uninstalling the AVG the usage keeps bouncing around. Now this is wierd I went to windowblinds and applied different themes when I did that the CPU usage went waaay down to 2% on all of the ones I tried. I went and tried the one that I have had on there, Love by Sabine gessner, and the CPU usage did not go up to 100% it went to like 15 then back down to 2% then now it is staying steady at 10 while I am doing this.

I am using window blinds with skin Love by sabine gessner. I have used other as well Windows Areo, stardocks Dragon, Hearts affire by jazzymjr,Azulhidef by avman.

I don't have the nortons on my computer anymore I took my laptop back to Bestbuy the first week and they had to take it off. Oh and I didn't realize that the services post was so long.

I use AVG but I disabled it to see if that had any affect on it and it still did the same thing. I tried different dreams and that is why I put 85-100% because with the less intense ones it is closer to 85 than 100. When I just have a wallpaper I am using about 2-5% when I am not using my browser. I never did find any of my blinds. I redownloaded some of the same ones and it never prompted to override or anything. Some I still had the Zip files that was in my unzipped flder but if it was a WBA file it was gone but I just downloaded more. Thank you to all that helped.

I tried using Deskscapes on my other computer which runs XP SP3 and I got the message about AGP card detected. I have Nvidia GForce Card and when I went to device manager and updated the drivers it said that the drivers that were there were the best ones. Well after uninstalling,then using clean up program and then reinstalling WB about 15-20 times (no exageration) I got it to update to 6.4. However, my downloaded blinds still are not there even after I rebuild the list. I did a search on my computer for a couple of the blinds that I could remember the names of and I didn't turn up anything. Thanks again for the help.

I didn't use a clean up program I will try that and if that doesn't work I guess I will wait until tomorrow like Night Train said. Thanks for the help given so far.

Well I tried to rebuild the list and a new install and now I not only don't have my downloaded blinds but it won't update from 6.3. That is what has taken me so long to get back here I have been trying to update the fresh install. It either freezes or tells me I have to restart and I do that and when I get back to Impulse the download had been paused and it won't resume. Then when i go to verify installation it says it is installed correctly but in the system info in windowblinds it says 6.3.
