Hail, Diplomats. Just shaking off the last binge and thought I'd stop in to say hello to the ancient, decrepit (but virile I'm sure) vets that actually remember me. And to those who've arrived since I fell into a tequila coma in the Special Forces Tavern back in the GC1 days, well met. It's good to see a few of the old banners still flying.

Hey, fellas. Just dropping in to say "Avast" to the new crowd of scurvy dogs. I think Kit stopped by the Special Forces Tavern about a year ago, and we had a couple drinks...I just woke up. Just successfully played my first game through. A few thoughts: There should be a running total of electoral votes throughout the campaign, "as if the election were held today." Yes, I could figure it out with a pencil, BUT... As others have mentioned, some of the text strings are too long - particularly on the TV interviews. Some sort of "reality meter" needs to be worked into negative campaigning and negative ads. As Schwar

Attempted to download 0.70[b].005 through Drengin.net. I'm unable to launch the game at all, receiving the following error message in a pop-up box titled "PolMachine.exe - Unable to Locate Component": "This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice; the second time, I checked the box for removing saved games etc., and als
