strange Opera/Galciv website bug in Off-Topic GalCiv2 Forums

HI This isn't a game problem. I regularly surf the web and this site using Opera, a great browswer and my favorite. For reasons I don't know however, I cant vote in the Poll using Opera. The buttons for voting simply aren't there. Maybe the website can be changed a little to be more Opera Friendly? thanks, madjoseph

Wow! Allow me to add my view to all the others. Stardock is setting the standard, not just for small game companies, but for ALL game comapanies. Anything that comes from you guys is definately worth serious attention!

There's one big difference between Oblivian and GC2 that I'd like to point out. Both games had bugs allright, but GC2 has been patched and updated since it's release. Hi, I'm loving this game and it's been playable from the get-go. However, I seem to be having a problem with ship explosions. They're tiny little things, for instance when my starbase blew up a drengin heavy fighter. That's a pretty small explosion but there's a noticable (and agravating) pause before it takes place. Two Minor Bugs in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi! I've been loving this game but I think I might have found some minor bugs. First off, the "continue game" button on the main menu doesn't let me continue, even though I"m in the middle of a game. Has this happened to anyone else? Two: When upgrading my space station, I get a "white square" in the middle of the display. Anyone had that happen? Is there anything I can do about these things? CariElf? Are you the same Cari I'm corresponding with through Stardock's Help? Just wondering. I can open the scenarios with the editor, providing I take them out of the AP folder and move them to the desktop. Both the Capaign and SCenario editors lock up when I try to open them in the AP folder. Is that normaL? and thanks for responding.

Hi Plephart, Ive mentioned this to Carielf to, I think, through the help email at Stardock. I'm running Windows Me, 512 ram, Athlon 1.2 gig processor, Nvidia Geforce fx 5600. The only problem I've had with the game has been the lack of objectives in the campaign. However, I've discovered I can't open the scenarios or the campaigns with their respective editors. They lock up every time. Hope they can get a fix for this. I bought AP just for the campaigns and scenari

okay, nope! They're gone again now. I finished the first campaign mission and the objectives disappeared again. Also, can some helpful soul tell me how to access the scenarios? I cant seem to do that either. thanks mj

Altarian Campaign? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hiya, I'm kinda wondering if my installation of the Altarian Campaign is working right. In the first mission, there's no objectives listed on the objective screen, it starts off with war already going on with the Korx. There's no explanation for any of this. Then at the end there's a screen saying we returned some stuff to the Altarians although we never did any such thing. Honestly, is this how it's supposed to work? madjoseph

Thanks Freya, For your input. I thought of that myself. But whatever it is, simply won't make itself known. I've tried searching through the ships, and the screens for each planet, research, etc. Still can't seem to find out what's holding things up. All I know is that the turn never ends. thanks anyway though. madjoseph

:sniff!: HI! I'm really loving the heck out of this game. BUT, it seems that sometimes, while I'm playing, the turn won't finish. I wait and wait and wait, and then sometimes, I get an update or an event, and that's fine. But sooner or later, things just seem to end up that no matter what I do, the turn won't end, and I can't continue the game.
