What will the Pro version feature? Will it address compatibility with other Stardock items. For example, I want to use IconX for the transparent icon labels, but Fences disappear when I do.

I recently uploaded two new Dreams and received e-mail responses that both had been accepted and links that take me to those Dreams. They did not ever show up on the "Newest Dreams" link, nor can they be found just by thumbing through pages, etc. My questions are: Were they actually accepted and posted? If so, why are they apparently unavailable for others to download? Why don't they and my posted "Logon Vista" skin shown on my site? Thanks! Charms55
Thanks, FL. Actually, I was not complaining at all. I was very pleased to be accepted and hopefully, other submissions will be more worthy. Just wanted to know how it works so I have some idea where to go with things. Of course, it was not a matter of forcing anyone to comment either. I only occasionally comment as well and need to do better at letting people know when I value their submissions. And thanks for the input.

Hi Corky, glad you chimed in. There is a folder called "DriveIcon" in that is a folder "C" and the default is set: C:\WINDOWS\System32\VITrans\osdrive.ico,0 I take it the VITrans refers to a setting from the installation of the Vista Transition is not correct. Now...what do I do? Thanks! Charms

I have run into an interesting but probably not unheard of problem. I is not serious, but is one of those things that causes a continual annoyance every time I look at My Computer. I installed a Vista Simulation program (Vista trans formation?) don't even remember now. But after uninstalling, it removed my icon for my C: drive. Now all I get is the Windows icon for an unknown files, etc. I thought when I did a restore it would come back, but no chance. Then I upgraded memory in preparat

Corky, Just to let you know how things went on my WB problem @ the office. I performed the uninstalls you indicated and rebooted and reinstalled WB. Then I tried to apply a skin....Same result....everything skinned except the taskbar and startmenu, which skinned with Cabal. Went through the whole procedure again, then tried applying a different suite (all of this from the original XP theme) and wound up with the same result.<
Corky, Thanks. I can always rely on a quick response from you. I am using the registered versions and they recently updated through Stardock Central. I am using theme manager and also do not apply the Logon and Bootskins as per my problems with the other PC. I'll see what I can do using what you've given me so far. Thanks! M
Hi! Help! (Isn't it always that way) I have an interesting though probably not unique problem that has arisen. I have applied a new suite (Cubist FYI) and all went smoothly...but... For some reason my Taskbar/Starmenu will not skil. Applying other skins yields the same result...every element on my screen is skinned properly, except the Taskbar/Menu. Hi Corky O, Thanks for any help you can give. I did get the laptop up and running following the crash. I did do a system restore (XP) but mostly I think it was just a qustion of going through safe mode and letting XP mend itself. The splash screen is more an annoyance than anything else. it looks fine on my desktop at home and had looked ok on the laptop until my crash. The rightclick menu worked fine on both until the crash and now d
I had a huge crash when I tried to use a bootskin. took me many hours to get my laptop up and running again. Now, when it boots, the splash screen for Object desktop is mostly balck. Also, now I can7t get my Right click to work on this computer.HELP!
