gmc2: the issue is not the size of the status area icons. The issue is that they are drawing partly below the edge of the taskbar, rather than horizontally-centred in the taskbar. The icons are small enough to fit in the status area, but they are drawing off-centre, too low.

I've linked a partial screen capture to illustrate what is happening. Maybe there's a configuration option that would push the small icons up a few pixels, but if not, then I guess it's a bug? I'm using the Diamond skin, as you can see. On the plus side, the install went smoothly, it's playing well with other Stardock enhancements that I use, and it doesn't break Otakusoft's DeskSpace.
