CanMan - Did your solution actually fix the problem? I also have a Dell Inspiron 1720 (just like a previous poster). [e digicons]:|[/e] Every once in a while, all icons fall out of their fences. It has been happening with increasing regularity lately. They ALWAYS fall out of the fences when I hibernate the computer. Simple solution - never hibernate. I ALWAYS make sure I completely turn off the laptop before I close the lid. It has happened 3 ti
