I have received notice of availability of Fences 6 Beta, but I am not sure how to get it using my existing Object Desktop account. Is it included or does it require a separate subscription? If included, how do I get it added to my subscription? All that shows up in my account is Fences 2. Thanks.

That did it. Thanks. I had never knowingly installed ExplorerPatcher, but it was there and now is gone. My problem is fixed.
Done. Would it help if I sent a screenshot of installed programs and features from Control Panel?
I finally got Bitdefender to allow me to run the purge batch. Ran it. Rebooted. Reinstalled Start 11.2. Problem persists: still get message in Taskbar tool that i have another program managing my taskbar buttons. First, basj had recommended my running your purge batch file, but my Bitdefender antivirus software blocks it, even when I suspend protection. So, I tried uninstalling and cleaning all references to Start11 out of the registry. Then, I reinstalled. The problem persists. I am willing to try the batch file again if I can figure out how to bypass my protection software and if I can verify that I am downloading that file from Stardock. Second, the screenshot above is my Windows 11 Pro tas
Sorry to take so long to get back to you. When I run the purge batch, my Bitdefender intercepts it, as if it's infected with a virus. I have tried twice. The initial screen says Unknown Publisher and file does not have a valid digital signature.
Win 11 Pro, 23H2, OS Build 22631.4721 Start 11 2.5 (most recent update) Thanks.
Thanks. Will do as soon I have a chance.
Rebooting does not eliminate the issue. Screenshot below: Blank area to left of Quicken icon is icon for start menu button. Thanks for you help.
In Start11 2.5, when I try to let Start11 manage my taskbar buttons, I get this message: "You already have something else managing your taskbar buttons so that cannot be enabled until that is disabled." My problem is that I have absolutely no idea what, other than Windows, would be managing my taskbar, and I have disabled every option for Taskbar in Windows settings. What would be managing my taskbar buttons without my knowledge? I have no other utility that obviously offers that function. th
Prior to reading your last message, here's what I did: Uninstalled Start11 and Fences 4. Rebooted. Reinstalled Start11 1.34. Result: problems described persist. Uninstalled Start11, rebooted, and installed Start11 1.23. Result: problem disappeared. Installed update to Start11 and rebooted. Result: problems described did not recur. Reinstalled Fences 4. Result: Problems with Start11 reappeared. Uninstalled Start11 and Fences 4 and rebooted

I tried that. No luck. Sometimes documents on my Desktop, which is located MS OneDrive will open from the recent items menu but never from documents on my local drive. Also, whenever I click on a document in Recent Item, everything (except the wallpaper) on my desktop disappears for a few seconds. I have just uninstalled all of my Stardock products, and all of the issues with my desktop have been resolved. I never had these problems using Windows 10, but I am
I did as instructed. For clarification, it is not the Return Items link itself that is the issue. Problem is that when I open Return Items and select document to open and left click on that document, the screen flashes but document doesn't open. I did try just now to right click on the document and use the Open command from the drop down menu. That worked, but left clicking directly on the recent document still doesn't work. Thanks.
Lately some Start 11 Recent Items shortcuts using Windows 7 menu configuration don't go anywhere. I uninstalled program and tried shortcuts in Windows 11, and they work. I installed Start 11 (beta), and shortcuts still don't work. Clicking produces some flutter on the screens but doesn't open the selected recent item.
