I have been having the same issue with Demigod for weeks now. I tried installing it several times, and can never get a decent speed. It says it's downloading at around 350k, less than half of my download speed, but it downloads about a kilobyte every minute. I was thinking it was just me. Haven't tested downloading other programs yet, will do shortly... Using Avast!, Windows Firewall, Win 7 x64bit.

I'm sure you've already tried this, but have you right-clicked, clicked on personalize, and made sure the checkbox to show desktop icons is checked? It may have accidently gotten unchecked, or Fences may have done this for some reason. My 2 cents, -Cym
