(except, now we have a child who is now almost 5....which gives us a reason to buy toys and do "kid" things with no shame..). I didn't know there was shame associated with having fun? *shrug* Honestly, and 90% of the women I've spent time with agree, what is the real point of marriage? I mean do you really need to prove your love f

brazil: your argument screams not "I work in the cattle/chicken industry." but "I read Fast Food Nation and now I'm an expert on everything related to it." Who cares? Chickens and cows are part of the food chain. And tasty to boot. Go tell a Great White thats its not nice to mangle/cripple then eat later a seal. Better yet, tell a Killer Whale its not nice to toss that half alive seal around for 20min. Its not nice to play with your food. <img src=

Just remember macrobyte, any 12yo skript kiddie can download a root kit and own a linux box in 2 minutes. Yes, Linux etc. have their flaws just like Windows does. The user base being more massive and widespread makes virii and the such much more of a big deal, as seen by the number of people here that have been affected by it. Make sure you take that all into consideration before you go and sling crap at Windows. Your crap dosen't smell any better. And FY

Interesting, but that also explains why they've unleashed the Evil Army(tm) (read: lawyers) on various copycat applications that have sprouted up for Windows. So if they have everything copyrighted, a "considerable" likeness is considered a rip, no matter if the artist made it themselves or copy and pasted from a screenshot. And therefore is 'against the rules' here for lack of better term. But yet, its OK because people already rip off OS designs for skinning and have been for

Oh wow! You are just too cool! I wish I was as cool as you! Ok, so what do you do in life? I get to save people. I feel good about myself when I come home from my winter job. That I did something for someone who will appreciate my knowledge far more than I'll ever really understand. (Karma rocks... esp. when you realize that that person coul

I'd say that they're accepted because the original source of the work is known, as opposed to ripping off some unkown artists work. So according to your logic, I can make skins to the likeness of Treetog's and its ok? Oh wait, its not though, because Treetog is a contributing member of this site and also sells skins. That makes it not o

Their work is technically copyright Apple computers. Including the interface. So isn't every Mac clone considered a rip? Even if its "very similar"? I mean, people get their skins pulled when its in "likeness" to skins made by those who make money off their skins. So why are Mac clone skins allowed? You're ripping off Apple. If you want the interface then buy a Mac. discuss.

And on the flip side of things, one of the best online dealings I've had is with Habitat Skateboards/their distributor. A board was part of a deal for a website I recently did, and the person who's site it was for did the ordering and had it shipped direct to me. They (Habitat) called me the same day with the UPS tracking number and to confirm my address and everything before they shipped. Some companies know how to treat their customers right. <img src="http://images
