I downloaded the update for Sins, since it seems, it wasn't installed despite the fact I downloaded Entrenchment. However, it pauses once the downlaod completes and that little wheel just keeps on spinning. What's the matter there?

Right, I've got a reply from Impulse who are telling me that the e-mail should have been sent to them.
Do you have any custom map files in your main Sins "Galaxy" folder? If so, remove them and see if that solves the problem. (Custom maps now go into your "Galaxy Forge" folder which is in a Sins folder in your Application Data folder, see the second post in this thread http://TinyURL.com/Sins5.)
No, I'd only just reinstalled Sins.

I've downloaded Entrenchment and installed it, but whenever I try to play it, the screen goes black and a box appears talking about a minidump. EDIT: Reinstalled it, and now it just freezes on the blank screen but the minidump box has gone now.

Somebody please, please tell me where I can find this patch! PS. Has anyone else had problems where the game is so demanding graphically that in order to cope you have to do decrease the graphic accleration but then you can't see the cursor 99% of the time and it still crashes?

I think that a campaign for a game like Sins would, to put it nicely, be crap. It just wouldn't suit it at all. I mean if you look at the story for something like Starcraft or the DOW series (or most of Games Workshops computer games) they are sucessful partly because of their stories where you are in the thick of it and you carry the story along but something like that in Sins would never feel as intensive i.e. 'get the Kol Battleship to the edge of the grav-well so our leader can escape' co
