I haven't had any luck getting any themes to work consistently on Windows 7. They all either have problems working or break something else, like the icons, when you turn off the theme. Sorry I'm not any help. I'm just confirming that you aren't the only one with problems on Windows 7. I'm curious to know how the support ticket works out for you. I'd really like to have working themes for W7.
Any chance of seeing anything official so I can either get my themes working or move on? This seems to be supported as well as all of the other Stardock apps. If you can't find someone on a forum with a workaround your application stays broken. It just falls in line with my disappointment with the entire Object Desktop suite. Too many problems with the applications and poor or no documentation. Again, we're back to the forums for information. Look at the confusion in the other MyCol

So will there be updates to existing schemes to support Windows 7? I like the themes I've lost the use of them on my laptop after upgrading to Windows 7.
So if the application is compatible with Windows 7 but the themes aren't officially compatible what are you supposed to do with the application other than wait? I bought a theme after seeing the latest version of MyColors was support on Windows 7 and the theme, Washington Capitals, doesn't work. I'm not happy about it but it does work on my Vista machine.

I did a search but was unable to come up with anything simple. I am looking for a tutorial that covers creating the icons and anything else I need to create an Icon Package. I've seen the tutorial on wincustomize.com on how to create a package but I'm still confused on the icon part. Any help getting me started will be greatly appreciated.

Did you problem also start when applying a MyColors theme? What version of Icon Packager is that? I have Icon Packager 4 available but that doesn't show as Windows 7 compatible so I don't even know if it will install. My problem was created by MyColors so I was hoping to solve this without adding more moving parts that could be questionable with Windows 7. Any other info you can give me will help me decide what to do next. Thanks for the replies!

I installed MyColors on Windows 7 64-bit and applied a theme. After noticing a problem with the title bar on IE (missing Min, Restore/Max, Close buttons) I tried to revert to Aero. Everything looks ok except the folders I have on my desktop still have the theme applied. This isn't true for folders other than the ones on my desktop. If I create a new folder it has the correct icon. Also, if I apply another theme the folders match the new theme. So the only time I see a problem is when I go bac
