Don't wanna sound rude, but is this the support that you think will win you future sales???

I did that, awaiting response. ;-)
Now I'm really pissed. Now that the addon is released the store shows me the correct price converted into Euros. I's stands at 7.73 Euros now which pretty much equals the $-amount it should cost. And I could buy it for that now, I went all the way through the process but did not made the final click. So why on earth did I get charged 3 Euros extra a few days ago? I contacted Stardock and see what they have to say. When they don't answer I'll let my cc-bank get the charg
Well it's not a problem if its 10 or 13 Dollars since it's a good bang for the buck anyway. But it would have been nice to know before you get your credit card statement. When I purchased (even my email receipt) it displayed 9.99? (the ? was supposed to be a currency symbol). I thought it would be a font problem and a seperate paragraph stated that the charge would be in USD. So I somehow combined that ? should be $ and I'd pay 9.99$ - well I ended up paying 9.99 EUR - converted back
Can somebody enlighten me why I did not get charged the 9.99 but a mere 12.87 when I bought Entrenchment two days ago? The addon is priced as 9.99 everywhere, yet Stardock charged my credit card nearly 13 dollars. Can this be right???
I got my install from Impulse and don't get any error whatsoever. I download and install vanilla GC2, then DA and finally TotA - all in the latest versions. No matter what part I start, the movies are missing. TotA at least displays the first intro tutorial movie (that is not even visible in vanilla GC2 and DA) but that's about it. No messages, no feedback, just missing movie files. Don't know what to do anymore.
Besides the very first vid they are all missing.
Hi there, I just noticed that all the tutorial movies besides the very first one are missing in my GC2 install (base game + both addons). I verified all three 'games' and Impulse says they are 100% ok. What happened to the tutorial movies? Are they not part of the Impulse version??? Best regards...
I mean would I miss anything in DL/DA without the heightmaps or would I just waste some RAM and have longer load times - something I can easily handle - for the few times I'll play the older ones??? I hope you understand what I mean. I don't want to miss anything (like leaving out movies or so) but I can easily take longer load times in the older version that I may test some time. I'm not really that much into story anyway. I love the sandbox games and TA is the best base for i
Thanks for clearing it up. I'll play TA mostly because of the enhancements to the core mechanics. I'll give the older two a try too here and there. I'll dl tutorials, media and movies then. I'm not sure about the heightmaps. If you say it saves memory, does that mean it does not give any additional content? My system has lots of memory (2GB of fast RAM) so I think I don't really need optimizations in the older two that I won't play that much. The heightmaps do not bring any content? So
Hi there I'm fan of Sins and now got me the GalCiv Ultimate Bundle (long time MOO fan back in the days). It's all fine and dandy in SDC. But I'm unsure what I need to download. GalCiv2, DA and TA is clear. But do I need/want Tutorial, Movies and Multimedia? Or is that integrated in one of the three parts (GC2, DA, TA)? And what about the Heightmaps??? Please help. Thanks...
That is noice. :CONGRAT:
Does that actually involve a redownload of up-to-date installers? I ask because my download was already 1.03.something - I find that very comfy because I don't need to patch anything. So if there is 1.04 or 1.10 later, could I just redownload the whole thing as an up-to-date package and backup it?
I bought the game first because I like the idea of combining 4x (I've been a big fan of MOO) with RTS style, secondly because I want to support developers who take a stance against restrictive copy protections (what allows me to play the game on my subnotebook and switch the dvd drive for a second battery) and third because its incredible value for money - after all you get a great game with hours over hours of gameplay for under 30 Euros! And I did not even know that I could multiplay
Nono, its just two systems here. Thanks for letting me know. Now Sins does look even better :CONGRAT:
ICO? My intention was, that I'd love to invite my father over (he's slowly getting into rts games and I'd like to show him there's more than COH) and have a go with him. That would be local multiplayer in LAN then. That online is not possible, is clear, after all its the same serial.
Ok thanks, that's good to hear. But I assume that multimplayer between those two would not work. Or does it?
Ok I installed SDC and Sins yesterday and it indeed works andsomely. A different question: I have both a laptop and a deskop PC. I travel a lot (business and leasure) so I installed Sins on my laptop to have something on the road. I it possible (legally and technically) to install Sins on a second system? If so I'd install Sins on my destop too so I can enjoy better visuals and larger screen.
Ok thanks. As long as SDCentral does not create another useless RAMconsumung service in the background I guess this has to be tolerated. I though I'd get a downloadable exe or something as a setup.
Hi there, I just bought Sins because I think such a great game and developer who takes a stance against restrictive copy protecions should be supported. However I found that I need to have SDCentral installed to download, install and maintain Sins. I've no other Stardock product so that seems kind of useless to me. I normally don't want a program like that on my system. Is there a way to download a "normal" offline installer for sins and leaver SDCentral aside? Thanks in advance.
