also i would add sir to be careful with the way you react towards comments and all. I have had another run in with another game developer: Derek Smart he is the founder of 3000 Ad and the Universal Combat series of games... However unlike Sins of a Solar Empire, 3000 AD has yet to make a game that was highly praised or really good. His attitude seems to be that he feels his ideas are the best in the world and refuses to listen to any of his critics concerns and instead kee

I think that was in very poor taste and offering an apology now only makes it look worse because you shoudnt have posted those comments in the first place as its very unprofessional and on the same level as forum trolling so to speak. I have already thought this game was not going to do well and case in point in launch. I really wanted to like it but it seems i will have to wait for a while for the issues to be fixed. In my opinion judging from soley the vidoe previews a

i am sorry this mod would be wonderful except for one thing, it disables the fleet size change on game settings . i.e. reverts back to the old standered fleet size . anyway to fix this in an update? i.e. instead of 32 cap ships max with the large fleet size option, it goes back to 16 cap. thanks.

Heres a suggestion for 1.04: options for quick start i.e. some of the tech /military/etc tree already researched/ set numbe of fleet ships , some planets already captured ?, option to have the map "explored" etc. would make for a faster game if people just want to get into instant action :-)

i agree i love the new map options for increased level cap and such. (which basically adds the level cap mod that was made for 1.1 that didnt work for 1.2) plus having option of no pirates in all maps really does help!

does this work with the random maps already included in the map selection (you know not the ones you make with the in game map maker but the small/medium/large/giantic/ random maps you can select from the map lists? like does it automatically include the 8 new planets in the pool or not? looks good though!

Hello i saw a nifty ship cap mod in the mods downloads but it seem to only work for before 1.2 patch. If anyone could make such a mod to work for the 1.2 patch that would be awesome the idea as he had to have it as 10000 unit cap and max build only 44 percent of income which is a bit less tough :-p. also a double capital ship mod cap would be nice too :-) great for using for really bigger maps. :-)

Hello i have one suggestion i want to say the "no pirates" in maps in the 1.2 patch isnt totally accurate, it is an option in small and medium maps but not in large random maps and.. there should be a "no pirates" option in the map generator thing (not forge..the in game tool) because even if you remove the pirate base section from it. using the randomly generated planet thingy it will usually put a few in there. thanks! :-) pirates are ok. but the farther you get along they st

two things that kinda tick me off which im sure others have said with the patch 1) previous saves do NOT work... thats pretty bad considering i put like 12 hours into my game only to have to start over? 2) "no pirates" options not avalible for large and huge random maps.. why not? please fix these two issues with the newer patch i would love to be able to finish the epic game i started. :-(

hello everyone. I want to say i noticed a few people saying they were getting frustrated or found the game too difficult or what. I sometimes have tough times with RTS games too of not being overun at first. however i found a great setting for "new comers" to start out with and get there feet wet The best way to learn and understand sins is to just take your time with it. best way to do that is select a huge random galaxy (100 planets) and select just 2 other races on easy set
