Actually one of the cooler things are banners and standards. Check it out: Adding cloth-banners (they don't have to have correct physics no :) ) to the stronghold, the shoulders of the rook and the mantle of the other characters would be a nice touch. Or, during the loading screen, display the two teams logos to the left and right of the VS sign perhaps?

Speaking about SupCom. Does this mean that the possibilities of LUA scripting are still there too? I can think of some really fun game modes and mods that would be just awesome to put in. So, GPG and Stardock, are we going to be able to make what looks to be a great game even greaterererer?
Congratulations :) I am happy with my purchase as well :) (And I recently figured out that cranking all the settings to high like speed, research and so on makes for a completely different game experience).
I can certainly understand their point but it is possible to have the dedicated server authenticate. But they knew that ofc. I just hope they host some on their own in that case (IF this game builds on a client-server model and not a p2p model that is)... I am just saying. It helps the game live longer.
May have been asked before, I browsed the forums for an answer but didn't find it. If I missed it, I am sorry. Are there any plans for a dedicated server exe? It would really be nice if there were. A simple consolewindow would do. No need for the extra bells and whistles. Just use an .ini file for settings and have the server react to certain keypresses in it's window (q for shutdown etc.)
I actually like the fact that the game takes time, about the same as a game of AoE2 really. And if I want it fast (Homeworld fast) I just crank up the speed.
Who is this Vextor you are talking about? He must be really cool if he has a pony as an avatar.
Nevermind this post, I am stupid.
Don't let him! :) Bad things will happen! I know it!
Very nice guide monk. As always :)
Yes, they all seem to be joining in *innocent*
