OK I loaded (after a few minutes) my old non-tabbed dock and everything is fine. The CPU usage is only high using a new tabbed dock. I thought I'd add that point.. more information cant hurt.
I just downloaded OD Plus 1.9 and for some reason every time I run it, CPU usage skyrockets up to near 100%. I have 2 gigs of ram, how is that possible? Windows XP SP2, 32 bit.. somebody help me.
Nope.. no programs running at all. Just XPs usual background tasks. The only reason I give the version number is because this only started since I updated to the new version. I think we need somebody from Stardock to look into this *hint*hint*, anybody listening??
No sir. My girlfriend has the same issue with the same version, but different widgets.
I'm running DX 3.20.044. For some reason, every once and awhile all of my widgets just disappear. Luckily, I have my desktop saved, so I can get it back. Is this a glitch in the program? Whats going on?
Go for it Po'. I've been looking around for a 2-d, high quality Winky, but I cant find any. All I find is D.Arnaez's 3d Winky, which is excellent, but more of an interpretation. Zubaz, whats wrong with "Winky"???
I just wanted to create a Stardock Central icon using that little guy. I think hes pretty cool. It'd be just me using him. If it was possible, I'd post it here too, but beyond that, nobody would use it.
Do you have a link to that.. or the picture file somewhere that you could send me? I am not a wincustomize subscriber, I simply bought Object Desktop, so I dont have all of the select skins.
Does anybody know where I can find a logo of our lovable lizard "winky." I've wanted to use him in a few of my projects, but I cant seem to find a decent quality picture (500x500 or so) of him. Does anybody know where I can find one?
To Uvah's point- many of the fractals in the gallery are the same, whether it be in bootskins (as Bebi pointed out) or in wallpapers. The problem is overloading those at wincustomize who have been given the task to moderate those sections. It seems to me as though packs will be accepted into the gallery more readily than a single wallpaper, because it provides the end user a one click access to many walls at once. I don't know about everybody else here, but everytime I look in our wallpaper section, I see it crowded with millions (I exaggerate) of fractal wallpapers. If this website restricts and moderates certain designs from being shown on our site, I believe its about time to restrict the majority of fractal designs, unless original or unique. I look at many of the designs, and I see the same thing, just with different colors, whereas other citizens are trying to post their original work
