You seem to be doing well. Don't worry about running faster than planned - as long as you're not constantly pushing the pace, your body is adapting quicker than most. The trick is to learn how to run fast with minimal effort. But be careful when you do your 20 - sit on the pace for the first 3 miles and find your comfort zone. The last 2-3 miles might feel hard but keep thinking that by dealing with the discomfort in training, you'll have been there in

I'm impressed! 2 races in one day! I once did 3 5K's, back to back: Open div., Master's, Women's, but when you're in your 30's you can handle it. If I remember correctly, I actually felt pretty good. Wasn't that cold though Alex(R+)

Hi Mormegil, I wrote a critique of your training program but under the comment for"10 Signs you're an insane Christian" Sorry! Had problems setting up an account. I'm primarily worried that your base won't be adequate enough for what is waiting for you on the other side of "The Wall". Only one run 20+ ? The secret is to carry one's speed beyond this mystical glycogen-depletion point and that's where more long runs and a bigger base
