Currently on Windows 7 32-bit. I've had a couple driver issues so a wipe and re install was in the works anyway. Skyrim seems to need 64-bit to be able to properly use the HD textures without crashing and more games are looking to support 64-bit so I might as well make the jump. I want to format the drive (as I always do with a re install of the OS) and install Win 7 64-bit clean. I have the 3 license Win 7 Upgrade pac

I've been using a D300 for the past 4 years but I'm now awaiting my D800E (pre-ordered but don't know when it will show up). I agree with F.L. here, the D3200 is a great value for dollar camera and is in your price range. You don't have to shoot max resolution with any Nikon D-SLR, there are several jpeg sizes to choose from. You also get the 18-55 Nikkor lens with the purchase. I have one other suggestion, maybe you could find an excellent condition Nikon D700
copperhill, I'd check Ashampoo Support (http://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/sup), and on Windows 7 Forum (http://www.sevenforums.com/). You'd probably have a higher chance of solving the problem...
OK, thanks, Doc. I went into Default Programs > Change Auto-Play and I chose "Blank DVD - Burn files to disc using Windows Explorer" and that seems to have fixed the problem, at least so far. So maybe Windows was getti
Hi guys, After burning files to a new DVD, the disk is somehow getting closed, the message is always "not enough room on this disk". So I start with a 4 Gg disk, successfully burn about 1 Gg and I get that message. This happens with both optical drives and with assorted types of CDs and DVDs. I have tried numerous burning programs including Ashampoo and Nero Lite with the same results. It also happens with "sending files/burning" with Windows. Does anyone have a clu
I have installed Wise Reg-Cleaner without any issues. I do not use their System Tuneup or Registry Defrag, I'm a little gun-shy with reports of problems. But I can recommend the main program wholeheartedly. Interesting that running Wise first leaves no issues when following up with CCleaner, has anyone else noticed this? CopperHill

Sorry, double post.
I've had the same quirk for a couple of months regarding sfc /scannow. Isn't this the same scan and repair as the chkdsk option on the HDD? The one that starts on a reboot. CopperHill
IT WORKED................YIPPEE! Thanks very much Ace. Copperill
OK, will give it a go. Thanx.
Did that and still got "not valid" when i hit apply.
OK, I get to the part to specify the path and when I click apply it says it's not valid. I'm positive of the location on my HDD. Maybe I'll try it again.
It's strange because I have those options right-clicking every other shortcut in my computer, everyone except IP.
That didn't work for me. Oh well, thanks for trying. CopperHill
CopperHill, good question. I use ObjectDock and Fences all I do is put a shortcut on the desktop and drag and drop. I'm not sure if that will work will with the Start menu. Worth a try.
Nope, the start menu won't stay up while I'm dragging the shortcut. It's just strange that every other shortcut gives you the right-click option to "pin to taskbar/start menu" except IconPackager.

I have come up with a similar problem. Some packages, mainly older issues, do not show in the IP interface, just blanks where icons should be. When i "apply" them, some packages work and others don't. I have uninstalled and re-installed the program about 4 times with no improvement. When zip files are downloaded, I manually place the icon folder in the appropriate location as recommended above by Starcandy. So I am missing the "previews" of various packages. I didn't want to start a separate thread, so I'll ask it here. Something got corrupted last night with Windowblinds and I had to do a reinstall, everything is working fine again. While I was in Windows7 "programs", for some unknown reason I clicked on my IconPackager. In order to uninstall it, the message said I needed the Impulse engine, which I removed about a month ago. If I ever had to uninstall/reinstall this program, is there a way to do it without Impulse. <
