It works well enough with some limitations. 1. It doesn't play well with Winstep. I can't drag a shortcut from WorkShelf or NextStart, as Tiles doesn't seem to translate them well (or maybe Winstep characterizes shortcuts differently). 2. I would like to be able to place tiles (on a shortcut page, for instance) in any order I choose by some method (just dragging to a particular location, maybe). 3. I would also like to see some kind of sorting capability on each page(ie alphabetical,

I'm disappointed to see there is still no way to turn off/on a particular dock tab, rather than simply having to delete it. Sometimes I just want to see a few tabs, rather than all of them. A tab on/off feature would really prove beneficial.

I have an add-in loaded in Excel 2007 - Explorer for Excel http://www.ablebits.com/excel-worksheets-manager-addins/index.php Unfortunately, it doesn't work with WindowBlinds loaded on Excel. I've tried various combinations to try and make it work with WindowBlinds, finally having to simp
Well, I must be flippin' retarded because no matter what I do it doesn't work...PERIOD. Not that it matters for me because I don't use tabbed docks at the top but dammit jebro, I'd like to be able to have it work, just in case Mirsguy ever makes a tabbed dock that I just gotta have at the top.
Just to clarify how to get Stacks to work properly in tabbed docks: 1. Right-click on the Configure ObjectDock icon in the tabbed dock (yes, you have to do i
Yes. See Reply #17.You need to right-click on your top-tabbed dock. Choose "This Dock", then "Position on screen", then "Top". I use stacks on my top-of-screen tabbed dock (5 tabs) and it works beautifully...as long as I follow the procedure I just outlined. Don't ask me why.
It works! Weird...

Using OD+ Is anyone successfully using the stacks docklet in a tabbed dock located at the top of the screen? I've tried, but the stack opens up off the top of the screen on activation. The dock is positioned via ObjectDock Postioning at the top of the screen, so doesn't seem to fit up-thread issues. To put a spin on things, it works appropriately on single docks at the top of the screen... Any ideas?
I am trying to find or make a docklet for Open Office that is similar to the weather docklet. I would like an Open Office icon and at mouse over it expands into the individual Open Office apps and I can then select which app I want to run. I have searched and search but I can't seem to find anything. I should mention that I just installed ObjectDock a few days ago and I am still feeling my way around. I would appreciate any help you guys can give a newbie.Thanks.
U

I've used SysMetrix for a few years. It's pretty customizable and skinnable, and although it tends to eat resources (depending on customization and skinning), it's mostly met my needs. The one issue I have with it is this: it doesn't give accurate memory readings (physical, swap and virtual cap at 2 GB). Using SysInternals' Process Explorer, I can verify memory readings, but would rather not have to resort to yet another program to get one bit of info (however important).

I would like to see the following: 1. Ability to turn on/off specific docks without resorting to deleting them. 2. Ability to turn on/off specific tabs within tabbed docks. 3. Flyouts that work on hover, rather than click (a la the weather docklet) 3. Better flyout control over how many icons are viewable (how is this determined anyway?).

Is there any way in OD+ to close a specific dock without losing it or quitting OD+ altogether? Specifically, I have a regular dock and two tabbed docks. I would like to close a tabbed dock without actually losing it or quitting OD+. Is this possible?

After loading OD 1.59b, the generic Stardock weather docklet no longer shows the temperature in the on mouseover labels, although it does show the proper location. The temp is reflected on the icon itself, but I prefer to see it in the label. Any ideas?

I'm using Windows XP home, so everything I normally install is under my profile (administrator rights), but not the actual Windows XP administrator profile. I wonder if that isn't the problem...

I have had the Object Desktop Suite and Object Dock for a while, and it works fairly well. But never really thought about other users. Now I want to try and setup other users, and the programs don't respond in those different profiles, whether administrator or limited user. I tried running wbconfig from another administrator's profile, as referenced in another post in the forum, but received a "no permission to the path" blah blah blah error. How specificially can I setup
