I have geforce4 ti 4200. and athlon 1700ghz, 512ddr ram. Will the game work???????????? I don't want to have to update my cpu and which i probably won't do because I'm not a hardcore gamer. I haven't played a game in years but this game has my attention. Will it work? Also I don't want to watch a slide show. I want the game to run smooth on my cpu.

Will there be certain units that can cloak? Or a cloak generator unit that shields a few vessels?
Just curious, I don't remember reading this anywhere, but I was curious about how many different ship classes (fighter, destroyer, etc.) there'll be? I figure you don't wanna tell exactly the # ships, but how many categories? Please tell me none of them contain just 1 ship like Heavy Cruiser class in HW...huh? you'd think if they designed a class of ship they'd make a couple different variants.
I don't remember if this was covered, but after ships have been destroyed and there's debris all around, can that be salvaged for minerals?
Will soase feature in-mission cenematics? For example: will you be in the middle of a mission and suddenly you hit a trigger and a cut-scene is generated using the in-game engine? I think that these add to the atmosphere of a game.
What type of weapons system do you like the best? Most of all I like projectile weapons, plasma burst cannon, anti-air craft flak cannon. It just looks way cooler to see ships using projectiles and plasma bursts in a big fight. I'm not a fan of seeing bunch of laser lines across my screen.
how about some screenshots or trailer 2?
it is very important for the ship to ship communication to be serious. When a ship is taking damage I'd expect to hear a distressed voice. When kicking the crap out of enemy they should be focused and content. Doing this I find the gamer is drawn in more so. I don't like games where voice over between ships is like listening to a bunch of kids trying to be funny. Cataclysm voice overs are horrendous. Homeworlds voice over = WIN
I really like when my ships that have the most kills and ofcourse survive the missions are rewarded with medals and armour/weapon upgrades. I also like to name my ships. A ship to receive medals upon completing a mission gives you joy and and attachment which make the game more enjoyable. Also I really enjoy when lets say one of my ships gets a weapon ugrade for eg. every 3 missions making the unit stronger and powerfull. If the ships that surive missions do not get medals and
