The first one does list object dock but with no serial (??) and no fences. I also already knew gamestop bought impulse (after installing it and seeing the giant gamestop ad's anyhow). It seems to be impossible to reach anyone at stardock via multiple phone calls, emails, or support form submissions. I paid for a copy of Fences pro a ways back and now need to reinstall it because of a computer reinstall but stupid impulse is telling me it is "expired" and no longer lets me download and install. Since this is how I originally received it I have no way to get anything but the free version off the stardock site. Luckily it appears I can still find my key at least in impulse si

Documents folder not staying in correct fence in Fences Stardock Forums

I have configured all folders to to to a "Folders" fence and then created a rule I placed above the folders rule that says any folder with a specific name should stay in a "quick links" fence. Every time I run the organize now it moves the folder with the name I excluded to the folders fence as well. This is the "special" my documents folder with my name. Is there a way to fix this?

BTW for anyone else that has this issue all I had to do what download SDC and install over the installed version of OD. After a reboot its working fine. It updates it to build 537 the download from impulse is 535. Thanks again for the info.. glad to see SDC is still around. I hate impulse.

When I try to enable the start button support it adds the button but then when I try to use it I get "Showing the start menu from ObjectDock is not currently available for 64-bit versions of windows. This feature will be added in a future release" Same with system try icons. I am using v1.90 OD plus. Not a beta version. It looks like yours is newer mine says 535u. Can you let me know if those 2 options work for you? If they do i'll see if i can locate the beta.

Getting kind of tired of seeing this feature not support on 64bit operating systems when I try to do stuff with ObjectDock. There has been no update for some time now and 64bit OS's are pretty common. Any clue on an update to fix things like start menu and task support? These features are reasons I was thinking of moving from my free rather nice dock (that looks alot like OD) without them there is almost no difference.

Thanks but that is not what I am looking for. I actually DO want MOST of my windows to work this way (where clicking an icon on an already running process brings up that running process) but there are a few icons when I click on them I want to start a new process. Most notably my link to dameware which i use to connect to multiple machines remotely at work so I have 4 or 5 copies going usually.

Objectdock question in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

I was wondering if it is possible to have exceptions to the option to bring up a running window if you click the button. For 95% of the buttons i want it to bring up the running application if there is one but for a couple I actually want it to open a new copy of the app. Was hoping this was possible it is something I was used to with my old dock.

well i was able to get it working I found the dream files in my documents stardock folder and double click them they run but still no control dialogs or anything available... wish there was a help file or something.

Wondering if deskscapes works on vista 64. I can't seem to get it to work but then there also seems to be no instructions. If i download a new .dream file it will pop up a dialog telling me i have to register to use 3rd party ones but otherwise I get nothing, no config no dialogs nada.

Ok more news.. i decided to try without doing "run as administrator" and it seems to work fine except the launcher complains and says it must be run as admin. This doesn't seems like a "good" fix i'd rather have it working right but at least I can halfway use it.. my 2nd machine still gets stuck with the mouse on its screen if I run it (eq2) in full screen mode.

I am using multiplicity pro 1.21 and it worked the first time i used it (sort of..) but now that I have rebooted the 2ndary pc (xp) I can no longer move between computers while everquest 2 is up. If I window it and bring up another application like firefox as the focused process it switches fine. I also had problems from the begining where the 2ndary pc would grab the mouse and not release it unless i ran eq2 windowed but at least it ran with it having focus.. Removed multiplicity from both machines, reinstalled both and now it works fine. BTW it works with the main PC on the bottom of the grid just fine. Thats how it was set after I reinstalled so obviously not everything gets removed but whatever the problem was did.

Yeah I tried it that way to start and it failed the same exact way so then i moved it to the bottom. Your mlksama-jr would be the only other machine I have and its above the one labeled primary. Still failing middle or bottom of grid doesn't matter. Even tried the top since if i check the stacked vertical its backwards...

I could if there was a way to attach images... I have the primary on the very bottom row in the exact middle of the grid and the 2ndary machine positioned right above it. There are no options checked other than use advanced grid mode in the screen before it. In that screen that primary does show itself to the left of the 2ndary but you have no options in that screen other than being on the left or right. I also can't move them around since advanced grid is checked.
