They still haven't done anything about the pirated versions. Gameranger is still the best way for me to play this game with friends even since the Beta patch this weekend. I hope and wish that something could be done to make Demigod without Gameranger as stable.

Thanks for posting this info. I got fed up with trying to play Demigod Multiplayer today and figured I would boot up Sin's. I was worried it had died, ie no more interest. I'll try again later.

I just went into GameRanger to play a 1v1 with a friend who just bought the game and saw this message: Demigod fixes for Windows 7 GameRanger should now launch Demigod in Windows 7 without the massive slowdown and/or black screen. This may have also affected Vista with Aero / Glass enabled. Also note that GameRanger will be requiring at least v1.0.0.93 of Demigod soon, since it's getting too difficult for people with fully updated

I really like the idea of being able to have some control over the fights but I am a little bit wary of using a skill like leadership in the manner suggested. Wouldn't it cause people who are not interested in micromanaging battles to feel somewhat forced into investing heavily in Leadership for their heroes? That might make some people feel that the game mechanic is "forcing" or encouraging them to play the game in a manner they do not enjoy.

For some reason, when ever I "Upgrade All Ships Of This Class", it's only costing 10% of what it says the actual value will be. For example, I upgraded 57 Cherub MK2 to Cherub MK3, which said the total cost would be 25000bc. I had 15000bc in my coffers, but thought, "What the hell? I've got a war on.
