ok - so i've uninstlled the previous version and installed as new - however the preview is broken. If i preview a logon, the logon screen is just a small corrupted window and i cant get rid of it without shutting logonvista down from the task manager.
It wont updatae for me either - how else can i get the update?
Has anyone got any idea or know what i can do to stop explorer and all the programs like wordpad and oe that come with windows crash. They all have one t hing in comman. When WB6 is running and the mouse hovers over the menu bar theys they all close immeadiately - at least explorer restarts itself but the others have to be re-opened. I did mention this when it was in the beta stages but i've had no response. I run legal copies of windows and object Desktop and every thing else for that matte
Here's another one. If i right click on my task bar........... explorer shuts down and restarts, again doesnt do this if WB6 is unloaded.
I still have my problem with my menus in explorer and Outlook Express - menues are ok in non MS applications.
i guess windows xp don't like vista like skins. i have wb 5.5..i have clear vista by jordy green from deviant art. at the bottom of the start panel there is a image that looks like a lock. mine lock is over top of the search box and off to the left of the logoff button. how can i change this with skin studio? the link is my shot.....thank you.. http://
silverspider2005: Which OS are you using and what skin? Regarding missing exclusions, copy wbperapp.ini from the WB dir to the new skins folder. The file was missed in the migrate. I've had to add outlook express to my per application settings since yesterdays update - everytime i clicked an item on the tool bar outlook express would just immeadiately close. I also lost all my per application settings too. Hi, I installed it through the SDC.
yes - AVG, now having said what I said earlier about it doing it to all themes, I found one that it doesnt do it too but that theme doesnt hide the system tray or task bar.
I am very new to Stardock, windows blinds and desktop x etc. I cannot get desktop x to load at start-up. I have to reload it manually on every star-up. It will not hold the check in the check-box under configuration to load on windows start-up. I'd be greatful for all advice.
Im having the same problem, I've tried all you suggested but it doesnt stop it from happening. It does it to all themes. I have the lastest version of SDC and as I downloaded it at the weekend I dont have any previous versions to restore to.
