You'll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday at minimum as they're on vacation per the notification up top. (or is this post irrelevant due to 'lack of factual provable and factual information?) Anyways, I agree with you, the battle results have been annoyingly inconsistent as of late. They actually used to be better. (or, again, is this post irrelevant due to 'lack of factual provable and factual information?)
I think I may have a clue as to cause: In my own ships it only seems to be appearing in ships whose final destination is NOT in the sector they are entering. My next-sector traffic appears ok, but my long-range travelers (freighters mainly) seem to get stuck. I've been forced to decommission those ships in the interest of my sanity.
I've noticed this as well, it only happens when the r
Unfortunately you're stuck with what's assigned and there's no easy way to get rid of it. Only way to get rid of it that I know of is to assign a governor to the planet, delete the thing and then remove the governor. Though I haven't checked if you can reassign an improvement. EVEN MORE annoying is the fact that the AI always uses that sensor upgrade. :P
Shouldn't the Aquatic 'biology' races still get a pop boost policy like carbon based races do? Silicon based and synthetic have their own mechanic, but Aquatic seems like they're supposed to be carbon based in general (though you could have aquatic silicon based). Basically, it seems like Aquatic is missing out on the early pop boost policy if they don't take one of the abilities that add one. However, Manti doesn't have those and they generally seem to do ok, so, is it intended fr
Quoting Vehement26, reply 15 I've been forced to decommission those ships in the interest of my sanity. OT question: how do you decommission a ship in GC4? Couldn't find out the way how to do it.
Double cl
I have had turns stuck...but never figured out why. However almost every time it was resolved by saving the game.,..and then loading that same game back. A couple times that didnt work, I had to revert to an auto-save.
That sounds like something else though? These can't be resolved by loading an autosave. Anyway, I did some experimenting and the results could help some people. https://
I also attempted to see if doing something with the military starbases and the slipstream module, didn't work Primary observations: 1. The bug only happens on the destination end of the slipstream lane. 2. Blocking the tile on either side of the entrance tile stops the bug from happening. I haven't had the chance to test this with other cases of this bug, but hypothetically, the same solution will work for any case. Also, here's the save fil
So, out of curiosity, I decided to try some experiments with the slipstream loop bug and got some results that might be interesting to the devs. To start with, here's the path it takes and the first slipstream is where the bug happen: Then I observed where the test subject landed on either side of the slipstream during the bug, then placed a starbas
I've had this issue as well, game really doesn't like loading the same save over and over.
Does this work for ToA? I would like to use it for the full expansion, but I'm not sure if it's compatible yet.

I know there is a debug thing that is used to help with the crashes, but I forget how to get it. Anyways, I was trying to get a homeworld with good bonuses and kept redoing the Torians. The first time it crashed it did it after two starts. After the CTD I started again and it went fine the first time, but the second time through it crashes. They both crashed right on the screen where you choose the race. I started the game up from the Impulse prog
I did use that code, multiple times, I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll try again in the morning. Good to see ya again Kryo :) Edit: I tried it again, did it with several variations including all caps, no caps, with spaces, without spaces, and with and without the dashes. Didn't work. I'll contact suppourt. EDIT: NM, got it, apparently I was missing a section of code :P
I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm trying to get the updates and when I try to register my game (which I bought at the store), it keeps saying that the code is invalid. The thing is, I'm not sure which one is the registration code as there are two stickers on the inside, one for the Sins code and another for a code for a walmart theme bonus.
yea, it was released yesterday. You should be able to get it through SDC if you have an internet connection on the comp that you play the game on.
download the latest patch, they have been toned down, I think they have been anyways. Not sure if thier logistics was toned down or not, but theres a possibility that what you are seeing is a bug if that was with the latest patch.
yea the AI still needs tweaking in places, although the pirates mega event should be toned down now.
they did say that they were changing the importance value on various techs for the AI (I assume this is for research and not diplomacy), but nothing specific for that particular one. It may also depend on the difficulty level you are using.
well ok, didn't hurt to try though. I wonder what is going on with all those no files matching mask thing.
hmm, do you have your latest AMD dual core update? I know there are some issues with the AMD dual core X2 processors, but not sure if it applies in your case. As far as customer support, the ticket thing tends to be somewhat slow, so you'll get help sooner by posting on the forums or asking around in Stardock central (IRC chat).
yea those asteroid ships do look pretty cool also, how did you get those slits in some of the asteroids (they are visible on the colony ship and troop carrier)? is it just one of the textures on them?
+ FIX: Bug in improvement code that was interfering with projects that were not upgrades completing properly (including terraforming imps). This is something that a lot of people have been complaining about. ok cool, any idea how the heck that got there? it is a bit of a mystery how that got in because someone had said that it wasn't there in the last beta and apparently some people were and some weren't getting the bug.
Decreased spacing between stars so that more stars can be fit on a given map (which means more planets as well) might cause problems on smaller maps where abundant stars is set, but we'll see. Anyways, all those changes look great that pirates mega event did need to be toned down. I don't mind having a challenge with that mega event, but would like at le
the purple/pink stars (I guess it depends on the monitor, I always see the purple stars as a deep violet color) are suppoused to be VERY rare, and always have been in the game. Its entirely possible to go several games without seeing one, even on a huge map. I have seen them occasionally, although I don't know the ratio of the rarity.
maybe if you could submit a debug err from DA, we could help you figure it out.
