plus i have the taskbar on the bottom i can seem to get the dock to stretch the legth of the screen either

Can i make my comp recognize the bounds of the dock? in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

I have my dock on the top and centered with no icons on my desktop. The problem being that whenever i place something on my desktop, it goes in the top left corner and is obscured by the dock. Also,is there anyway i can make it so when maximizing windows, it doesn't overlap the dock, and no i dont want to set my dock on top of all windows and have overlapping. Thanks
