For a while I thought about not getting the game because of the QoT myself, but thankfully when you're actually playing you can't see her well enough for it to matter. Honestly, I'm still kinda disapointed that they pulled something like that though.

Yea, this is sort of a difficult thing to balance. I think the real problem with the minions though, is that they tend to get thrown at the enemy in one single mass. If there were ranged minions with a long enough range that they could attack while being far enough away from the melee minions to not get hit by an AOE that targets them, then I think that might solve the problem. Then at least it would take 2 aoes to kill all the minions (or more if you really spread them out)

Just install GameRanger and watch for custom games on there. Sure, it isn't the panthon, but it has worked 100% of the time for me so far. I have yet to not be able to connect to a game using that service, it is amazing. The only problem is that most of the games on it are pirate ones, so you have to look for a patch .093 game. I just need to figure out what is wrong with my internet connection so that I can finish one of those games, but that's my problem, not demig

After resorting to using GameRanger, I've been able to get into demigod games just fine. However, I'm still having one problem: I haven't been able finish any of these games. Honestly, I got the game yesterday and tried online play for the first time last night. I was able to connect on my first try with no problems and started playing within 3 minutes. Hmmm, maybe it would work best if they changed it so that the cost of tech trading slowly increased with each particular race as you traded? That way you can't just be continually abusing the system, but you'll still be able to trade a little without having to give all of your technology away for a single old tech. Even if that doesn't work, something has to be changed again. Like others have said, it was too easy before, and it is too hard to trade now.

In my last two games I have had this problem where I'll get to a certain point, and then I can't play any further because the game just crashes repeatedly. Loading the game doesn't help. Hey, I've been looking at this game, and I intend to buy it soon, but I wanted to check something first: will it work with an intel graphics card?
