Typically I dont respond to post like this, but I had to respond to CelMare and his there "might" be a few game devs with worse support than stardock. Here is a couple of developers that actually have bad support since <a id="ctl00__Content__RepeaterReplies_ctl10__LinkUser" class="hand" title="Click user name to view more optio

So from what I'm reading thus far theres basically a consensus that there is no real counter for the minion build. Counter meaning you can actually kill the dg or run him off not quell his army for 10 seconds while he recast and rebuilds his nightwalkers. I really dont mind the build, but there needs to be some counter to it, thus far no one has even come close. If it takes 2 dg using aoe to do it that is not really a counter, it actually confirms the point that somethi
Thats kind of my point. For me its gotten almost boring to play the minon buil because i know I can chase any DG out of a lane pretty much whenever I want without putting myself at risk. I dont really have a problem with it being powerful at endgame because it should be after you stack armor with minion upgrades etc. IMO the horn of battle really isnt that big of a deal. It only prevents me from having a good 10 seconds of invicible minons that no one can kill. I think
been doing it with erebus without horn of battle really isnt an issue imo or do you mean beating a minion build in which i agree. I've actually got to a point of being bored with the minion build because its so easy.
As much fun as I have had dominating dg playing minion build erebus he needs to be leveled out a bit. I mean seriously I have not found one demigod that can stand up to the minion build. Most games the dg's just run to the other side now and im finding its not even a challenge anymore. So what do you all think. IMO I might lower the amount of nightwalkers you can have or their dmg / health. Obviously would have to test it to find what the happy medium is. Now before you other er

From what we've been told in DG if you attempt to cheat, all you'll get is a desync, since the data will differ from the cheater and everyone else's simulations.
What has been said is irrelevant, they c
In a completely unrelated note except to the "cheating" comment related to p2p networking design. Peer to peer games are easier to cheat in that a client/server topologies. Its a very basic concept really. In a Client/Server environment your game state and logic are controlled by the server. This allows for a more secure game state since you have direct control over what the server dictates is happening in the game state. Peer to Peer decentralises the game state and logic to unsecure machine
And the trolls come out. I was not mad about losing, and if you actually READ the post you could clearly see that at no point did I blame anything or anyone, nor did I accuse anyone of cheating. I watched the auto attack damage for 500. I watched crits, which are easy to see since they are yellow(not white). the other players watch the auto attack whne they were getting hit and asking wtf in team chat. There were no deaths before lvl 5 on either side and thats when the "magic moment" seemed t
im not exagerating, and yes he had 17k gold at the end of the match when he was lvl9 so there is no way he had that when he was 5. We played longer just to watch this happen and try to figure out exactly what was going on before conceding. The point is he was just like any other oak till he hit lvl 5 the he turned into what was described. 2 other people in the match saw the exact same thing and both had no idea of how it was possible. everything was set at stock settings. Thats
i agree with the need for replays and how they accomplished thier build, and yes that was the match. the other demigods were not as strong as this one oak but they were most definetly not weak so I really doubt they gave up items. I didn't want to mention names because I would want hard evidence before anyone went calling people "hackers" and thats generally where it goes when you mention names, but since you looked them up, it was The Communist. I find his record a little suspect as well. On
he was by himself
naw im not talking about 500 unmitigated. He was hitting me as ub with the above stats for 500 on auto attack. Which is why i was like wtf with 1203 armor????? I didnt see him using penitence either, which might help with that, he literally would just run at you and auto attack. He was by himself the whole game, and even with me as UB, regulus mining him, and our oak hitting him we could not manage to take him even to half health. The map was cataract so no dmg flags or anything
UB This is from demigoddb on the build I had at lvl 5. No one died before lvl 5 so no he had no kills at that point. He would chase you out of a lane and you would be next to dead before he hit you 4 times, mind you thats without even trying to attack him just running away from the insane damage. Health 3690 ( 5465.628 Modified Armored Health ) Mana 3358 <
guess i should have mentioned he had a bit over 5k health as well, which is why I was so confused as to how he reached such a high auto attack early on as well as health. He also had lvl 3 priest. Again the game ended he was at lvl 9 with 17200 gold total so i cant imaging he had maybe half that at lvl 5. thanks for the work on figuring it out thus far too.
So I just came from a game where a lvl 5 oak was autoattacking for 500 damage, not criting for 500, auto attacking. I've run through every setup I can imagine at lvl 5 on demigoddb and cannot make any loadout to match this. Not even a straight dps build. I won't post the names but they seemed to think it was funny to watch oak take out 3 demigods of the same lvl, by himself, simply because we could not do enough damage to him before he auto attacked us to death, and couldnt outrun him even wi
You need to track disconnects. As soon as people start hearing about tracking "Menu->End Game", people will just switch to "Alt-tab, CTRL-ALT-DEL, End Process". The important stat is how many times has a person left a game (unintentionally, or intentaionally doesn't matter) before the game has finished.
Possibly, but that doesn't account for people who crash or are dc'ed because of the netcode, or people who dc because the game is
There are several issue that need to be addressed before implementing something like this. 1. Connection issues and crashes. It would not be fair to punish someone because the game crashes as seems to be happening alot atm. I was crashing alot and have figured out that mcafee corporate 8.5 does not like demigod as of 3 updates ago, and was causing me to crash in game. 2. People playing with a system that is o
