Thanks Lula. I'm guessing it won't be long before Maxey is discharged. It's too bad but that's where we're going here. Can't say we haven't been warned. Scripture says in the last days good would become evil and evil would become good. It sure is something when you can speak about sexual behaviors but not Godly behaviors.
If it keeps up, the EPA is going to be America's downfall.
ya, they're well on their way..
how do you explain the baby booms at some companies?
and here I was thinking all this time it had to do with playing footsies under the table. And now you're telling me it's in the water??
I have a friend here who served honorably for 21 years in the Air Force. He is now a Pastor and sound guy for our weekly bible studies. I've had the privilege to sit under his teaching a few times when he's filled in for our regular bible teacher and author Marv Rosenthal. He's a wonderful expositor and what we'd typically say a "salt of the earth" type of guy. He loves God and he loves people even if it means telling
I was told from one of my line dancing friends to watch #79 Ryan Pickett a lineman. Evidently he grew up here, nearby and she knew him from school. She used to serve him meals from the cafeteria. She said he was very very poor and was a very nice kid. When he made it to the big leagues, he bought his mom a house. Go Packers!
oh boy...here we go again. It's the water! I knew it! :)
For me it would be: 1. My relationship with God who sets me straight. 2. My family 3. running (great stress reliever) 4. Time out with the girls 5. chocolate (I'm so with Tonya on this) 6. Good Christian worship music (Charles Billingsly helps alot) putting everything into perspective for me. 7. A good movie.
ya, and you can add the telephone people to this as well. We have trouble around here dealing with the phone company. One time they overcharged me (I pay a flat fee every month) and when I called they admitted the overcharge; a result of some glitch in the system. But they told me I had to pay it anyway and then I'd get a credit the next month. I asked, why not just give me a credit now and he said they didn't know how to do that. What?&nb
I figured the Super Bowl isn't really a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots out of it so not worth paying attention to. That is, until I read this email today. Now instead of saying "GO PATS!" I'll have to say "GO PACKERS!" I'm sure this is written by a true blue Packers fan! Have to give him credit for ingenuity in gathering more supporters for
I so totally get this. In fact, this could be me having this conversation with the credit card people. Frustrating. From a friend. Now some people are really stupid!!!! Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die. This is so priceless, and so, so easy to see h
I love Maxine. This is a bit of her humor with a whole lot of truth behind it. I bought a bird feeder . I hung<br
You are a bit young yet (when I had my first one, they asked me "Why" since they do not usually recommend them until you are 50).
guess what? I just had a birthday and I just reached that milestone. Although.. I was told by one this week that I look 28 and another who said she thinks of me as a young girl! I get that alot. I'll take it for as long as it lasts!
The notion that no child should be vaccinated because some may have an adverse reaction ignores the clearly demonstrated benefits of vaccination for the overwhelming majority of children.
On the radio yesterday I was listening to an interesting story by the President of Compassion. His name is Wes Stafford. Anyhow he was telling this story about growing up in Africa as part, I'm assuming, of a missionary family. He said when he was very
good luck on the family history thing. It's so sad to see so many fractured families like this..including my own. I find myself envious at times when I see the closeness of extended families, something I've never really had. That's why I'm bound and determined to start anew with my three boys and their families to make sure we stay close and connected. It's more for their sake at this point then my own. I guess because I want them to have what I never did.
Gee Whiz...where is everybody?
Many weeks ago now our Pastor preached the Sermon on the Mount. Since I've been doing much studying along these lines the last few months I decided to put my notes from his sermon down here along with some of my own thoughts. I believe there are two ways, two crowds, two behaviours that eventually lead to two destinations. According to a recent poll 98% of people believe (think) they are going to heaven. Well t
I'm actually interested in this too Charles. I got an ipod nano for Christmas and it comes with the ear buds which I hate and don't stay in anyhow. So I have to find an alternative as well. I've never had a mp3 or ipod or even a walkman before so this is a new gadget for me. I'm not all that fond of over the head either and am thinking behind the ear sounds best. So I would appreciate the same imput you're looking for..wireless or the other as
Amen Daiwa. I concur. And that is now manifesting itself via the surge of diseases that are making a very strong comeback as a result of parents NOT immunizing their children.
I recently had alligator at a frish fry deep in redneck country here. It was fried and what was left of it by the time I got to it looked like pieces of chicken nuggets. I didn't get much but what I did try tasted sort of like chicken. I recently heard about a guy who deep sea dives with nothing but flippers and one big breath. He goes down as far as 500 feet below the surface....good for him. Not ever gonna happen with me. <
Lula... I sent this to my son. Since he's the expert when it comes to Neuroscience and I know he knows alot about this particular subject since he deals exclusively with the brain 24/7 these days, I sent him your original news article. This is what he said: "I think this is non-sense, but nothing will stop those people who want to believe in the vaccine-autism link. Whoever wrote this obviously doesn't understand anything about brain development or how t
Paranoid much?
reminds me of my son who has the same type of idea to a degree with books on his shelf like "How to be Invisible." I laugh because he leaves a trail behind him wherever he goes. I can actually, by looking around, tell what he's done all day by looking at the trail of evidence he leaves behind. :)
you bring up a good point T. Actually my Pastor mentioned something along this line a few weeks ago. Sometimes you work and work and feel like you're not making a difference. Sometimes you're just so close you don't see the workings going on until later when you can stand back and to see the big picture which may take some time to get to because you're just so busy doing what you have to do. I know I feel like that sometimes. Most of the time actually.
Yes, she is D. Just got the scoop that part of Ohio is in the dark. Did you lose your power T? My poor son is beside himself tonight. Means no netflix! So instead he calls mom. Nothing better to do. :)
I guess it depends on what your definition of "good" is. According to the Word of God men are inherently wicked and will continue to get worse. Actually this morning I went to a lecture and the speaker who spoke said he's probably the oldest one there and in his more than 75 years on the planet has seen the world getting more and more chaotic at a national and world level and he believes it will only get worse as we bring up the young people in this current cult
I am really hoping it wasn't the boy you know.
thankfully, it wasn't. Went in tonight to get my money and extra value meal tickets and saw him working. I really didn't think it was him. He's a pretty good kid. The assistant manager told me tonight that she was shocked at who it was when she found out.
