Thanks for thinking of us! I live in Orange County and the Santiago Canyon fire was closest to me, but that one is pretty much contained, so i'm not too worried. I do know a few people down in San Diego that have been evacuated to the stadium. If anything comes up, i'll be sure to let you all know.
I've got the same issue. it was nice to see they sent the info for WB6 to me. would be great if it worked. luckily i can still do work without it

Thanks for posting these! I installed them and wanted to report back with results. I've noticed significantly improved startup times, thats the biggest thing. I haven't done any large file transfers or anything, yet. Hopefully we'll see some more of these from MS.

I'm a ribbon-supporter....usually. Sometimes it'll be tough to find those hardly-used features, but other than that, i'm satisfied. and it looks better!
Hey, i've got an easy one for ya'll (i would hope ) i don't know if anyone uses WinDirStat (the drive spacial analysis/usage program) but the icon is a tree. just a big, bushy tree, and of all the icons, i could not find ONE tree! (Yes, this is how it looks in OD! ugh) TIA Max
OEM Why shouldn't MS require that manufactures ship with the "best and brightest" product I think it's a good idea for manufacturers to have the newest stuff. however, with vista still being, for lack of a better term, "new", phasing out good ol' XP shouldn't be considered....yet. Manufacturers should (even though some do now, i'm talking about in the future) give you the choice of XP or Vist
Hey OrdesI, the upload picture only applies to pictures hosted on another site, like photobucket or the like. you can't actually upload pics from your computer directly

hey everyone. i've been out of the icon scene for a little, and i'm glad to see this thread is still going. one thing i haven't seen on WinCustomize is a set for the OpenOffice suite. that would be really nice!

This is a great series of articles you've got here. I've been keeping up with them. I think Vista has a lot to bring to the table, but I think I'm going to pass on upgrading until March or so, just in case something comes up..(bugs, etc). I did have some experience with RC1&2, so we'll see what the final version has to bring

ooooooookay. next request Sony Vegas 7 and Sound Forge 8. The originals are rather boring..... I saw there was a collection of sony media products, but with vegas 6, along with sound forge 8, but it wasn't to my liking. soooooo, if ya'll could do that, that'd be awesome. thanks! Max

hey sctman, Welcome! I noticed you were looking for a paperport icon. I believe it was Bandit4edu that made one for me. It was a generic paperport one, with no version number or anything (i am using 11). you may want to check that out. Max
