Bootskin Distorted in Beginners WinCustomize Forums

Greetings, I'm new at this, so please bear with me. I changed my XP bootup skin, however, it appears really distorted. It's always been like this. It takes up the whole screen (laptop, 15.4 inch) and appears really blurry. Is there anyway to change that setting so it's clear? HELP! Thanks In Advance, Brian
