Hi all, Ive found a possible graphics problem in the latest DA beta. I dont know how to provide a log for this, if one was automatically made-how do I access it? Click for fullsize version (1920*1200, 158KB) I cant exactly remember how I produced this bug, but will note how if I en

It would be nice to have strategic (sp?) view on one monitor, and a very blown up map filling the other. Kinda like what happens on the Nintendo GS. Maybe I should have mentioned this months ago?
.... Which, is what I'd do if I was so far ahead!
And, also. If you preordered online, and enjoyed the beta, can you still get the bonus pack? (I know you probably wont be able to get the TTMap, but, I know most of it off the top of my head now anyway! )
Im running Beta 8 at 1440*900 2X AA on a HP Laptop with ATI Radeon Xpress 200M graphics, runs fine. Cant see having to do anything but drop the AA rate, and it'll run even better.
Well, if the SP surpasses whats in Beta5, I can only say that playing the SP would keep me amused for hours. Ive played so far, only as humans though, for atleast 200 hours. 48 hours in one go once, until I fell asleep from exhaustion. So, heres to another 200 hours! <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FF
Mine is pretty simple. The Free Trade Alliance; with huge emphasis placed making money. Ive had games with 2 or 3 words, and generated over 1000bc/turn. Its kinda hard to ignore such an economic powerhouse next door, isnt it!
I was having problems getting the Mutlimedia, mind you, It has jumped from 0.28.035 to 1.0.0.40. Dont mind that, its working fine all over now.
SDC, you have to check the beta option for the stardock central thing, then check for application updates. Wouldnt bother atm, not until we have some feedback on this one, that is.
Suralle, could you email me the gc2.sdc file to thci@{NOSPAM!}open-theweb.net (removing the {NOSPAM!} part), Ill see if I can make a work around, using the registry and that file. I believe that its a file list, of sorts, to tell SDC what to download, and to where. Shouldnt be too dificult to force SDC to download after that has been done, Cheers if you can send it over, Nathan.
Ive noticed similar situations as well, I think its because of the economy of the trading partner. The stronger it is, the money a route collects. But, thats just a theory.
Its as established said, but, remember, that as the population grows thier approval goes down. You could end up with a class 20 world with 20bn people being supplied food by 5 farms, and the remaining 15 tiles going to just keeping them happy. Still, nice way to collect taxes, I suppose.
First thing I tried, Ill retry it again just to make sure. Nope, was on California, and checked in the registry to see if it was california. Doesnt work on Chicago either.
And me! Im about to email Stardock support, it might do some good.
The latest beta has been very good, cant wait to compare it to the Gold version!
Braun: Are you running XP, 2000 or 2003? If not, you probably wont have one, it will be somewhere else under 9x/ME. OR, its that the folders are hidden. Unless you type/copy the direct folder address in, you wont be able to get there. Mind you, if you use the full name it will be "Local Settings". Hope that helps Grunt: Nope, think the file is missing on the server for this many of us to be experiencing the same problem.
Aint recieved a copy yet, seems that folks who are lucky enough to have the game installed are already playing it!
Seems to only happen with new installs then. Which is rather annoying. Wants to reside in, for me anyway, "c:\docume~1\njw\locals~1\temp\sdcentral\" for me. If someone who has already got the latest version installed can follow these simple steps: Start > Run > type in "c:\docume~1\{YOUR_USER_NAME}\locals~1\temp\sdcentral\" , then press enter. > If youve got gc2.sdc in there copy it to desktop, open up your email client and attach it to an email, then send it to thci@{NOSP
Shogun, thats a bit strange. Is there a copy of GC2 already installed for you, or not?
Hello, Ive played GC2's beta since I first spotted it whilst wibbling aroung on the world wide wibble, got to say that its very good for its stage in development. Now the problem: And, its all mine. On Christmas evening my house caught fire, destroying all the computers in the house, Including the one that I had GC2 installed on. My family bought a laptop to share until we are on our feet again. Ive had GC2 running fine on this m
