thank you Koasati i have both of those and once i get a handle on skinstudio i plan to try those next. question though since you mention those 2 programs, would i use a program like paintshop or photoshop elements to create an image then use the logon or bootscreen programs to turn them into thouse images? my main difficulty right now is getting my head around using skinstudio, figuring out "if i do X, then Y is the result" it is tougher than i imagine

need guidance in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

i recently dl'ed skinstudio and have some good ideas {i think} for some skins, logons and boot screens but my problem is i've never had any real computer training so looking at skinstudios i get lost easy. are there any books or VERY BASIC {doing this, makes this happen} tutorials out there for someone like me? i've read the other tutorials that come with the program but still need step by step help until i get a handle on it all. thank you for any and

hello all i have enjoyed many of the posted skins here for quite a while now and figured it was time to try my own hand at it. i dl'ed skin studio the other day and i'm a little overwelmed with all the options having done nothing like this before. i know i've seen at least one tutorial on the boards here but can find it now. does anyone have any guidance they can give, i really like the type of design halben did on the Last Pharaoh skin and would love

hello all i recently dl'ed skin studio and am looking for a helpful hand in getting started making skins. i'm a little overwelmed i guess with all the different setting,etc. i know i've seen at least one person post a tutorial in the boeards but i can't find that now. help from anyone will be greatly appreciated

thanks werewolf, i guess as a get better and more comfortable making window blinds i can move to buying photoshop elements to make logon screens and such? i can tell it will be addicting already since downloading all the great blinds, ect people have already made is addicting too. thanks again.

possible windowblinds bug? in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

i have xp sp2 a 3gig p4 desktop and have recently downloaded several window blind skins and a few, not all, once applied make the screen jump continuously, sometime reloading the screen help sometimes not, is there anything i can to to fix this? thanks.
