Programming Resources in Beginners WinCustomize Forums

i'm not a programmer (although i did stay at a holiday inn express), but i want to learn more about the basics that underly cerating and managing skins/wallpaper/etc. essentially, i'm looking for something equivalent to "skinning for dummies." for someone like myself, sure, i know how to download a wallpaper or change icons; but i don't really know the differences between the types of files (e.g., .png or jpeg) and what powers/limiations these files

greetings citizens: my monitor resolution is set at 1280x1024 (or something very close to these numbers) ... but it seems that when i download wallpapers the wallpapers are fuzzy ... this is the case whether the wallpaper is 1280x768 (or something close to this) or 1600x1200 ... i can understand that the 1600x1200 is higher than my monitor can support ... but i should be able to show a lower res wallpaper clearly, right? any guidance is appre

hello people: i've been using od+ plus for about a month and it's worked fine. but as of yesterday, it doesn't appear when i call it up (my setting allows for od to appear when i move my cursor to the top right of monitor screen). when i reboot it seems to work once or twice and then disappears. if don't reboot and open od from my programs list, it works once or twice and then disappears. i've cleaned out my cache and temp files; use firefox; haven'

hello: i just purchased object dock plus ... i have downloaded some docklets (or icons?) to replace the default docklets for my computer, firefox, and thurderbird. i was able to change from the defaults, but the icons are noticeably smaller than the default icons. sure, if you run my mouse over the icons the size varies (according to my settings); but i would like the downloads to be same size as the defaults. any help is appreciated. thank you.</f

i'm new to this wincustom stuff and it's great. but every time i download a wallpaper, the image is blurred. i have tried adjusting the resoultion on my monitor, but the image still isn't clear. any suggestions would be appreciated.
