HELP!! DX wont startup with windows!! in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

ive always used windowblinds and ive owned dx since i bought WB but never really used it since there were no skins i found i liked for it, but i really liked q's new theme and i have it all the way i like it now but everytime i start windows it doesnt apply the theme i just get a gray desktop and my windowblindblind skin. i checked off the box that says run at startup, i treid checking it in both client, and, builder mode, but nothing works. could it be the skin?? im lost and ive searched

i to have trillian and your right it does not change the skin becasue trillian has its own set of skins if you go to the trillian website you can change the skin there. other than that windowblinds will not change the skin its compleatly normal

i dont know what happend everything was working fine untill yesterday. i start up my comp and everything is fine i start playing F.E.A.R. and everythings fine when i exit out of the game. my per pixel borders are ontop of almost everything including object dock and my cursorxp and even the start menu. i reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers. i reinstalled windowblinds. but nothing works. and everything wwas fine 2 days ago.im not sure what is really wr

i had the exsact same problem and its becouse window fx is not compatible with window blinds 5. i got rid of it by turning off menu shadows in window fx. or if that doesnt work then try disableing all shadows. hope this helps it worked for me

ive tryed installing suites with wb5 and nothing works i dont htink that wb5 is compatible with theme suites. but u can download all the parts seperatly on wincustomize and apply them with there aproptiate program hope this helps

ive got a xfx 6600gt and i can play fear on almost full settings at the highest res and i get 40 fps average and thats saying alot couse f.e.a.r. is a hard ass game on botjh my cpu and graphics card. the xfx 6600 gt agp is a beast when overclocking i got it to 590 core and 1200 mem!!!

i have a 6600gt agp 8x and i can run f.e.a.r. full settings and highest res ecsept the ultra settings like soft shadowing and i get 40 fps average and i only have a 3000+ amd 64 but i think the 4 gigs of ram helps, and i oc my card to 585mhz core and 1190mhz mem. but i see no need to upgrade to pci-e just yet. altho it would be nice to aford it but seeing as im 17 with no job and a car to pay for. i dont think ill be upgrading anytime soon <img src="ht
