I am having the same problem. I just installed Desktop X and cannot get any of the weather widgets to respond. They don't change between F and C and won't change locations. I am behind a proxy, but I've got it setup in my internet options. Does DesktopX read internet proxy info?

Firstly, my sysinfo: WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.01 (build 40 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. 5.51 release ---------------- x64 Vista support added Fix for issue with CS3 Misc tweaks and performance enhancements That's all the change info I could find.
Does anyone know what exactly is causing WB to think per pixel borders aren't supported? There must be some sort of flag or something it's looking for in the drivers. Surely someone can figure out a work-around for this! I want my pretty windows!
thanks - i found that other thread about the catalyst drivers. now i just have to find the right older ones.. sadly it doesn't look like the ati website has the older drivers for the mobile radeon cards. bah!
I've already updated to the latests ones from ATI..
I'm really sad to see that I cannot have the transparent borders on my windows. I have WindowBlinds on my IBM T30 laptop with a Mobile Radeon 7500 (latest drivers installed). When I go to the system information screen in WB, it says "Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins." It also says that recent Nvidia and ATI boards should support this. Is the 7500 just too old? I'm not entirely sure I would have spent the money on WB
I've noticed the same thing. I would imagine it does have to do with the firefox interface itself. Perhaps we'll get a firefox upgrade at some point...
