Did I fail to mention that fangs make good can openers for overly confident "crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside" warriors? I'm feeling a bit hungry, anybody else up for a light snack? Moral lesson learned today? An awesome suit of armor does not a warrior make. Edit: Neither does a litte birdy emblem with earth, air, fire, & water symbols arround it.

Yours is a guy with a beard. oooOOOOoooo. @Desamator. Reading your avatar... Do you really try and tell yourself that to make you feel better about not having a significant other? Maybe if you say it to yourself enough times, you might even actualy believe it. Not likely, but you can pretend. Mine is 450 lbs of muscle and razor sharp claws & teeth. Even Dragons are afraid of Tigers.
So remind me again why we can't just take a situation for what it is? I mean, the scoring affects everyone equally, so wether or not you understand how it is calculated or not, it is still a level playing field. Well, simply stated because one low scoring game in a recent spot the way they weigh the scores will make your entire ranking plumet.
to you MaddyBadger. Thanks for putting the effort forth. If you're interested, I've tried my hand at one of the Eldar ships here:[link="https://forums.galciv2.com/index.aspx?ForumID=162&AID=104951&p=11"]https://forums.galciv2.com/index.aspx?ForumID=162&AID=104951&p=11">Link (post #534, If I knew enough about posting, I'd clean that mess up a bit.) As for races, I believe you had
There are quite a few posts about how to do this earlier in the thread. Basicaly, you use the "print screen" key on your keyboard to take the screenshot. You then have to exit the game. (alt-tabbing works on my computer) and then 'paste' the image into an image editor. (I use mspaint.) You can then crop/resize the image to get what you want and save it. Again, I use jpg to cut down on file size. There are several posts scattered about the thread that then tell you how to host the image fo
Usually, when I create a new hull now, I save it without any equipment on it so the base hull will show up as soon as I get the hull tech. Then I can tack on the engines and equipment as I see fit.
Let me be the first to say that I'm no good at this, but I wanted to share one or two of my ships anyway. I thought I'd start off with my feeble attemts to portray an Eldar Void Stalker. Really? Can't get it to work on XP? I don't have that problem. As a matter of fact, I've got it installed on all three of my network machines, 2 XP and one Win98. When I have CD's in the drives for each, I can play 2 of my friends. Tactical combat in BOTF was simplistic at best. You can choose one of (I think) four different attack styles, each one 'aimed' at defeating one of the other four. Basicaly it's who's got the bigger, and (almost more importantly) more experienced guns.
