Guestbooks will return, it's a temporary deal. It wasnt extremely widespread, so we didnt put out a public notice. Just a few people are effected. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I still get those bad 2-5 seconds pause on this site.

At one point it even paused for 10+ seconds, to point that IE7 showed (not responding) in titlebar. It only get affected by this site.

You might want to try an ad-blocking plugin to block those scripts.

Guestbook is back, just to let you know whatever fix you guys applied, it worked!

PurrBall, what scripts?

I noticed that everyone's that I saw missing is back..mine is back but the comments were jumbled out of order and new comments now had wrong year on them - but no big deal - I deleted a lot of them so it didn't look so odd.

My " Email User " is still sending and receiving blank emails - but, at least I get to see if someone was trying to reach me - if I know them I'll reply.

Same thing as Fairyy on my page as well, but at least the posts are here...

I made a test comment at http://cycoced.wincustomize.com/ and the date and sort order are fine.

Fairry, I think it would be a better policy to first point out what [you/all] may think is a visual or data problem and ask if one exists, rather than speculating. Speculating on possible issues always confuse people

Any news on the Access Denied issue?

When my guest book was restored it was no longer in sequence. Questions and answers were no longer in order by date and some had dates that were not the original dates.

Hi Felix, no I'm not a Kiwi but my good friend buzzh58 is, I sent you the VmaX Theme that I have in 1024 x 768. Hope you can use that version. If you need a DX Theme that will work on 1280x768 try buzzh58's newest them Vista Bug 1280 version..that will work as the dock is on top.

Two new comments by " BobOwnen1 " are appearing Between comments made March 10th 2007 and October 3, 2007 and are dated " yesterday " They did not start at the top where a new comment would normally appear.

There were more but I deleted them as they made no sense.
An entry Jafo made on my guest book in 2007 says:

As for the " Email User" not working - you had suggested that it could be my server but , buzzh58 has tested his email user link and his also sends and receives blank emails too. He is in NZ and has a different server than I do. He uses Outlook Express - I use AOL.
Its not a big deal at this point to me but this is an email I received today - I don't know this person so its hard to reply to a stranger when all I see is this :

And for guest book drop by my site and see, the date are changed: When a user put me a message i answer him directly thus the order is user/quentin/user/quentinuser/quentin/user/quentin

Guys, this is the final word on teh Guestbook/Comments issue: There is nothing that can be done about the entries which were assigned erroneous dates before the last fix. All you can do is delete them.

Fairry, I've said that it could be your client failing to render the html in the email properly. I continue to be unable to reproduce the issue. Every email you have sent to me through the system thus far contains the proper text and every email that I've sent out through our testing accounts also goes through fine. I have acknowledged that you have reported the issue and we have made note of it. We will investigate it and continue to watch for the issue. Please stop reporting the same issues!

All you had to say was the guest books cannot be fixed - you didn't...and I was responding to your comment #334. Which was vague. You keep implying im the only one with the blank email issue when the post right above mine by Quentin says he is receiving Blank emails too.
Plus..I have never sent you an email through the WC email system. I forwarded you one that I recieved from WC to show you it was blank from my AOL. I received 1 test email from you only.

I check 'my skins' a lot. I celebrate whatever little milestones I reach just cause it's cool (and I have no life lol)...anyway...I've been closing in on 200,000 downloads. Well, after you all fixed the problem with a few of my previews vanishing, it seems my total download number has dropped from aprx. 185,000 to 10,944.

Now, I was really looking forward to hitting that 200,000 mark and even have some peanut-butter tasty-kakes set aside. This may not seem like a big deal to you, but you have to know that tasty-kakes are local to Philadelphia and that region and VERY hard to come by down here in Podunk, South Carolina. So, could you look into fixing the bug in 'my skins' so I can enjoy my tasty-kakes before they go bad or my step-son finds them and eats them. Please.

Got that the other day myself.....upping a wall.  [managed eventually with upload2]

'Po - I noticed the same thing - if your going by the total download column in your skin list - its only totaling that page - go to page 2 or 3 etc and the total is added separately on each page - just add them together - at least thats the way my skin page lists the download count now.

Now.....about this page-load stalling....all appears to load...but you cannot scroll, etc for another 5 to 10 seconds......[major butt-pain]....for eg...this thread....

It used to total 'all'. Is this how it's going to be now? If so, then I guess there is no bug. But then that means I have to add them up.
