Ghost in the Shell is good, I highly recommend it. Vampire Hunter D was ok, but it felt to me like it was a small part of a bigger whole that just wasn't there. The Big O didn't appeal to me, I only saw the first three episodes. And Escaflowne wasn't that good either, it had it's nice parts but on the whole I didn't like it. Read or Die, Love Hina, and Chobits are three series that I do like.

The tap water in my area is supposed to be safe, although not exactly clean. I noticed it tasted a bit odd shortly before the paper said it had a high algae count or some such, but the city (which owns the lake the water comes from) assures us that it is perfectly safe. needless to say, we have a water purifier type device at our house. On the other hand, I thought it was neat that the city owns a lake.
actually, no, i use windows 2000. and i can't say i ran afoul of system restore, i just find it amusing. no safe mode either, i reformat for reinstalls, more fun that way but thanks for the info on MRxSmb
