Yeah, but my point was that you can make your sov melee heavy easily by adding as many str and def rings as you like.

I have vista 64 on my asus g1s, and had no problems getting it and running it. It does crash every hour or so, but i figure they'll manage that somehow.

....would be for now, to pump only intelligence and essence. Im thinking this because there are unlimited equipables for all other stats like dex, str, and hp, so just pumping int and essence allows you to have plenty mana to cast and to imbue other heroes through the game. You gain like 3 essence for each level, so thats one extra casting hero each level if you like.

Hey, by doing multiple research in the "adventure" line, there is an option which reveals more resources of different sorts each time you choose it. It usually makes bees and other types of food pop up all over. I have no problem for foods after having combined that along with researching irrigation/granary/food guild from civic.

one of the things i really liked about age of wonders (my go to tbs) was your ability to truly turn your cities into strategic strongholds, with automated defenses, stocked with canons, and with reinforced gates that the foe had to beat down before they could force their way through that chokehold into your troops, all the while your archers could rain down pointy death upon them. Im not sure if its possible, but making the tactical maps in city fights more open to being set up through

yes darkseed, there is a pretty serious memory leak. I dont have alienware, but my asus G1s is pretty good about games, and mine crashes every 30-40 minutes. Sucks that i enjoy the game so much i keep getting drawn back for "just one more turn".

Ok, love the game. Yes, its a little buggy...crashes to desktop with an "out of memory" error every hour or so, but im loving it anyhow, and i know they'll work it all out eventually. GalCiv2 was perfect by the time i got it, so i know this will get there. Anyway, i took the necessary technologies to "channel" IE: to hand off some of my essence to my heroes. But now i cant for the life of me figure out exactly how its done. Any suggestions anyo
