A new mmorpg that has been in development for a very long time has opened their pre-orders 2 months or so in advance. If you preorder you can get into the beta. Which is obviously fairly complete if it's open to the public now. It's very pretty using the Crytek engine ( of course you don't need crysis powers to run the game) I don't know much about it myself and was interested if anyone here is in the beta.

Seems to me that it will come out in V1.2 and it was frogboy's oppinion to have it later as clan support is more important. Up to GPG though, I'm excited either way. This could solve any money issues they may have for creating new demigods or maps. We would just do it for them :D
One way of thinking of it is that you can pretend to be buying the game when purchasing these points... But then it's no fun when you get the upper hand of everyone.. I like an even battle field edit: it appears I'm wrong and that it truly is simply for looks. <table id="post107318" class="tborder" style="background: transparent url(/reply/edit/images/gradients/gradient_postbg.jpg) no-repeat scroll 0% 0%;" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4
Oh ok, I'll give it a shot. Where did you hear this news of mod support in 1.3?
I'd rather it be retail.. Now it's just about who spends the most on the micro transactions.
Interesting. I did see the oclulus model (king). I tried playing as a minotaur modifying a few scripts but it apprently wasn't enough. It always freezes right at the point that it would zoom in your the starting demigods.
I'm hoping to create a Demigod modding thread. Post anything you have done here and let's see what sort of things we can come up with :)
It should be pretty self explanatory. It should guide you a long step by step to get it going. If you want help from stardock a long the way I'm sure they'd be glad to. They have great customer support
I believe the hammer works too
Restart all of impulse?
Same here. I have yet to gain the achievement to win 1 game yet I have the achievement that I have won 250 games. Among many, many other achievements I have on other people.
I've never used a computer where the fan wasn't always on.. Maybe I'm stuck back in the ages where if there is no fan then you're cpu is good as gone within seconds.
There's also a few other sights (with better quality) It was released to a japan gaming website I believe and quickly spread.
So not much hope for seeing large and grand armies duke it out under your control? Of course as landisaurus says, nothing truly known at this point
I was actually thinking about buying this sometime soon. I played in the beta before a long while ago. Is the online community still active?
Maybe I'm crazy but I have not been able to find anything what so ever pertaining to the combat system in the game. It certainly would be nice to see a dev journal about it.. Is there something I missed?
What I've been doing recently is getting every speed item possible. Swift Anklet+Boots of Speed+Wand of speed+Journey Man Treads. It seems to have worked fairly well and makes chasing very easy. Especially if you can get in front of them while they run away from a battle and lan a hammer on em :D
And still nothing on the actual combat.. )=
Thanks for the replies guys :D Centurion, you certainly demoralize me a bit but so long as there is a great community there's always a game that can be found by challenging a fellow member. :P As for the experience, online does go a little wild but will never get it till I do it. Much like starcrafts. It's a huge leap between single player and multiplayer games. Again, thanks Sweegs, Annatar, Han, and Blair (especially if it was the middle of the night ;))&
First of all, I hope it's ok that I posted this here. I've heard of Sins for a while, how it is the golden easter egg that came in under the radar. However, I have a few worries. The first of which.. how about I list these 1. Slow beginning. The one turn off for me about space games is that early engagements never take place. Mainly due to the fact that a small fleet will be decimated after the long
Frogboy likes to show off 5vs5 :P Although I couldn't see if he had won that one... Maybe he played it today, we'll know tomorrow froggy ;P Anyways, a lovely update. Glad to hear about replays!
Talk about thread derail = \
Well atleast I can join you in the fun times of a long crucible game. Except I top yours at an awesome 105 minutes :P Only reason we won is because my team mate (UB) utterly raped TB and Erebus in the end game.
I think we should have a community DoTA night. Along with Demigod of course
Did anyone ever play this? I was in the beta oh so long ago.. For some reason I took a look at their forums and it seemed that Petroglyph simply gave it up even though it could have been a huge success.
The new scatter shot seems to be largely overpowered against heroes. (almost said demigods) And Zues is a panzy as always.. lol Although I have to agree, lasso is so much fun to use :D
