The scripts for the children objects are used for other purposes, i.e. labels I am creating a kind of dock in DX, as an alternative to the standard drag & drop containers, which I find rather messy. The "MouseEnter" & "MouseLeave" on children control the label's visibility.

Congratulations!
Hey WC, I have been using a generic docking / autohide script, and its autohide state causes problems in my upcoming theme. The theme has docking objects with children, but the children need to use "MouseEnter" & "MouseLeave" subs. However, this screws up the autohide section of the docking object script, which uses "MouseLeaveEx" Since the scripts interrupt each other, is there any other way I can script "Object_OnMouseEnter" / "Object_OnMouseLeave" subs / functions without using
Thanks RomanDA! I found the source of the problem. The docking script docks the base docking object with the sub "Object_OnMouseLeaveEx". The children have "Object_OnMouseLeave" / "Object_OnMouseEnter" subs. For some reason these interfere with the parent's script. Time to change all the scripts of the children [e digicons]X|[/e]
While making my themes, I experience sooooo many crashes. It seems to occur when I'm editing multiple scripts, but sometimes happens with single scripts. I have tried clearing the DesktopX cache, but it hasn't done anything. Is the problem with DesktopX, multiple scripting processess, or my crap computer? (Note-the crash happens when I try to apply the changes to the object[s]) If someone can give me a fix, it would be great. Thanks for all previous support.
Hm I can try that...it's just I have used this script before and never had the problem.
Yes thanks sir, but I must say Chrome supports most parts of this website well. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Sorry Bichur, I'm looking for a fix to my docking / autohide script, that autohides like the Windows Taskbar. Phoon's DesktopX Theme removes the object's visibility.
Happy birthday RomanDA!
I was wondering, on the whole it seems moderators & admins like the DX themes that are more like large widgets? I was wondering if I should start to create themes like that, or do complete theme skinners still have their place?
If anyone could please download Fluorescence (Pre-BETA) from my personal gallery? Link I need someone to find out the issue I'm having with the docking script. When the top dock is set to 'Autohide' and you either mouse over the 1. autohide / dock button or 2. an icon, after a delay the dock will try to autohide, but seems to be bounced back, presumably by scr
I am working on my new DX theme, Fluorescence. Pre-BETA is available in my personal gallery. I need help, because after experimenting with the dock (at top), I realised that the script isn't working properly. The icons on the dock, and the docking/autohide button screw up the script when you 'Mouse over' the items while the dock is in 'Autohide'. The dock flashes, as I presume to be trying to autohide while being prevented by scripting. If you could download t
BigDogBigFeet, thanks for all the help you have given me with my problems. You are a great part of WC.
Yesterday, I switched computers to a newer HP Pavilion (XP). I found my upcoming DX theme, iVista (15+ MB) worked fine. However, since last night the theme started crashing DesktopX when it loaded (after the desktop information). It still works on my old computer. Moreover, a few old variations I made of the theme are also screwing up. However, smaller DX themes like Vista DX by quentin94 and Winders Vista DX worked fine. I would be really disappointed if my theme is corrupted, as
While we can work around the SysTray creation problem, it is hard to then edit the SysTray properties because we have to use an earlier version of DX (i.e. have one computer with old DX, or if you're like me with one computer you can't change it at all). Hopefully Stardock fixes this. DesktopX 3.5 was released quite a while ago...can't they do a minor update?
I updated my DX skin today and accidentally checked the 'update date' option. It deleted my DX skin from the gallery. Can't WC leave the skin there until it's moderated, then update it? I've had a bad experience with moderation before-took about 10 days to be moderated and I don't really want to wait for this long every time I update.
Thanks Island Dog! You Rock!
I have being trying to upload my new DX theme. It is about 10 MB. I have tried to submit it using Firefox 3, Google Chrome, Safari, & IE8 IE8 has login issues. Firefox 3 & Google Chrome don't do anything when you press the submit button (after filling in fields and choosing upload file) Safari just lagged. Is it my slow computer/connection?
It is also much more time consuming Plus you lose the dock items' customizability.
I explained my problem more at top.
Hey guys, I downloaded DX 3.5 and realised it has no SysTray support. Has SD decided to make that in professional, did I download a bad version or do I need some kind of plugin? (I'm 13, I can't persuade parents to buy OD) Also, I'm kind of new to scripting. I was wondering if anyone could help me with abit of scripting. I currently need a script which delays until it goes on to the next step. I am trying to make a Vista-Like Start Menu where on default a clock is showing, but whe
Best idea is the Email User I guess. But...it doesn't even work for me. It just doesn't appear. Maybe if someone can help me here? Is it: Browser problems (Firefox 3.0.1) User glitch (...) Not a WinCustomize Subscriber (I'm 13, Parents Won't Allow) eMail not submitted (Tell me how?)
Thanks guys! Only problem is, apart from finding eMails artists may not check their message board and skin comments very often, especially since I'm featuring old skins. And apart from you Kurtin and possibly me just about no-one puts their eMail on their site...
I am trying to post a DX theme but I am finding it hard to get permissions. Does WinCustomize have an eMail address feature on the user page that I missed? If not how do I get contact different artists to get their permission?
